American Capitalism (1948)

Capitalism, is the system that help this very country to reach the point that we are right

now living in. It is also where it was founded, as stated in the video that we will be explaining

about called American Capitalism (1948) publish on YouTube in 2008. The topic of the video

as stated from the title American Capitalism talks about, from the beginning to the time of this

country founding father established an idea that can create a political and economic system

unique among the other nations. A system that is now what has made this country the very tip of

wealth as well as leadership. From their it leads on to a classroom were a man that goes by

Professor Clifton L. Ganus giving a lecher to the next generation of America society on how to

understand the American system of capitalism. The professor fist explains the meaning of the

term of capitalism, the leads to two examples of capitalism that is as stated state capitalism and

American capitalism, and then we go in to our system and go into details of the three different

structures that makes up American capitalism which are as stated privet property, profit, and

marketing. And that leads to the end of how it helps are community and our society. That was a

brief summary of what the video was about now let go it the three most important figures that

represent sociology. As well as what kind of paradigms are represented I this video.

Starting with Karl Marx (German philosopher) and if he had the chance to see this video

he will have to say it follows everything he does not believes in. the reason why is because, Marx

believed that material good were the reason why this world grows. As well as the way, social life
is run is about conflict with land, money, and many other things. Which is why, American

capitalism is not perfect to what Marx ideal. The reason why is because his biggest belief is that

every resource must be shared with everyone freely. And when it comes to American capitalism

it pretty much every man for himself as well as some get super rich and other dont.

Next will go into Emile Durkheim (French sociologist), and her way of seeing it is that

societies are held by the sharing of values that can change over time depending how societies

grow over time. And if Durkheim had the chance to see the video she will have to disagree as

well. The reason why, is because American capitalism dont see eye to eye on the shared

resources depending on how societies grow. In American capitalism, it believes that the more

you can grow the more you should go for and make.

Now we go into Auguste Comte (French philosopher) and the why he sees thing is in a

systematic observation as well as in social order. And the way he will see American capitalism is

that it fits in he why he sees how thing should be run. The reason why American capitalism will

fit is because, the way it structures, how customs are run an organized, and the values of thing

change over time.

The paradigms that I can see from this video I have to say will have to be concepts,

questions, method, and lastly structure inquiry. The reason I say that is because, starting with

concept is that there is a reason to why everything is being explain and the details to why. The

reason for questions, is because the video asks used of what we know and compares it to what

they have. Method is because there is always a method to everything especially how American

capitalism is run. And lastly structure inquiry because it provides use with what we need to learn

as well as materials to how we can do it.

To conclude I have given my brief summary of the video called American Capitalism

(1948). As well as give details of what I believe the three people would believe as well as were

they side if they saw the video as well as I explain the paradigms that I can see from this video

that I have spotted
