Intro to Revelation Part 4
8/13/2012

Ha Melech (Coronation of the Messiah)

One of the aspects of Yom Teruah is to crown God as our King. The Shofar was seen
not only as a call to stand trial before the judgment throne of God, but also to
reaffirm Gods sovereignty and Kingship over the world. Judgment and Kingship are
closely linked.
Psalms 98:6-9 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the
LORD, the King. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that
dwell therein. Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together.
Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he
judge the world, and the people with equity.
It was a regular practice to enthrone the Kings of Israel and Judah on the 1st of
Tishri
There are 4 parts to the enthronement ceremony of a Jewish King
1.Giving of the Decree
2.Ceremony of the taking of the throne
3.The Acclamation
4.Subjects come and pledge their allegiance
1. Giving of the decree
Psalms 2:6,7 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the
decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Rod/Sceptre is given
Genesis 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between
his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a
sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
He came as a prophet, Resurrected as a priest, Coming back as King of Kings!!
2. Ceremony of the taking of the throne
2 Samuel 5:3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David
made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king
over Israel.

1 Kings 1:39,40,45,46 And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the
tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people
said, God save king Solomon. And all the people came up after him, and the people
piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the
sound of them. And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king
in Gihon: and they are come up from thence rejoicing, so that the city rang again.
This is the noise that ye have heard.
Revelation 4:1-4,9-11 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in
heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with
me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be
hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in
heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper
and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like
unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon
the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they
had on their heads crowns of gold. And when those beasts give glory and honour and
thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and
twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that
liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art
worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all
things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
3. The Acclamation
I Kings 1:34 And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king
over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, God save king Solomon.
2 Kings 11:12 And he brought forth the king's son, and put the crown upon him, and
gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped
their hands, and said, God save the king.
4. Subjects come and pledge their allegiance
Psalms 50:4,5 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he
may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a
covenant with me by sacrifice.
Psalms 47 is known as the Coronation Psalm:
1-4 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. For
the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. He shall
subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. He shall choose our
inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. (The decree is
given Applause)
In verse 5 we have the shout and Shofar of Yom Teruah
5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. (Acclamation)

In verses 6,7 the shouting & praising of the King

6,7 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. (Shouts
and Praises)
In verse 8 the ceremony of the taking of the throne
8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
(Ceremony)
In verse 9 The believers in Yeshua are gathered in His presence & pledge their
allegiance
9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of
Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
(Allegiance Pledged)
Psalms 102:13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour
her, yea, the set time, <mow`ed> is come.
Psalms 102:16-18 When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. This
shall be written for the generation to come: (The last) and the people which shall
be created shall praise the LORD.
Lets go to Yom Kippur:
Leviticus 16:3-5 Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock
for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. He shall put on the holy linen
coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with
a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy
garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on. And he
shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for
a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
Revelation 19:11-16 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that
sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and
make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and
he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a
vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies
which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white
and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite
the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the
winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture
and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Revelation 19:17-21 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a
loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and
gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the
flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the
flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free
and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth,
and their armies,

gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his
army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles
before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast,
and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat
upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were
filled with their flesh.
Ezekiel 39:4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands,
and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every
sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open
field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 38:18-23 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come
against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my
face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that
day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the
sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping
things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the
earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the
steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call
for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every
man's sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with
pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon
the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire,
and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known
in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Isaiah 2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud
and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
Isaiah 2:18-21 And the idols he shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the
holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for
the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day
a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each
one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of
the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the
glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
Haggai 2:6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I
will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
Ezekiel 39:17-21 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every
feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come;
gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a
great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink
blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the

mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of
goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be
full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed
for you. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty
men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. And I will set my glory among the
heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my
hand that I have laid upon them.
Revelation 16:16-21 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew
tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and
there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It
is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great
earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake,
and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of
the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto
her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away,
and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of
heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of
the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Now, lets compare more of Leviticus and Revelations and see a Divine Appointment
happening and how it is the Yom Kippur service! This event will happen some year on
Yom Kippur!
Leviticus 16:12-15 And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from
off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small,
and bring it within the vail: And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the
LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the
testimony, that he die not: And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and
sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat
shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. Then shall he kill the
goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the
vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle
it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
Psalms 141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up
of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the
souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they
held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true,
dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Revelation 8:3-6 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden
censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the
prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the
smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before
God out of the angel's hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire
of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings,
and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven
trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
Isaiah 63:1-4 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah?
this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength?
I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine
apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the
winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in
mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my
garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine
heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
Revelation 11:15-19 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in
heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and
of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty
elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped
God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art
to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the
nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they
should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the
prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and
shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in
heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were
lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Matthew 13:38,39 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the
kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed
them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the
angels.
Exodus 23:16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou
hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the
year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
Revelation 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over
fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in
thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes
are fully ripe.

Leviticus 16:16,17 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of
the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in
all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that
remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness. And there shall be no man
in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the
holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his
household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
Revelation 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and
from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven
plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
Revelation 19:2,13-15 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged
the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged
the blood of his servants at her hand. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in
blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven
followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of
his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he
shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness
and wrath of Almighty God.
PROPHETIC FOR ISRAEL
Prophetically, on this day, Israel as a nation will realize Yeshua is their
Messiah!
2 Corinthians 3:13-16 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the
children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken
away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But
even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless
when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
An unveiled face is to see into the eternal purposes of God. Israel has yet to
enter into their prophetic holy calling.
Isaiah 25:7,8 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast
over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up
death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the
rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath
spoken it.
God will remove the veil from everyone but is waiting for something significant to
happen.
Yom Kippur was the only day the High Priest could speak to God Face to Face.
Leviticus 16:2 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he
come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat,
which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the
mercy seat.

Leviticus 16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an
atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year.
Ezekiel 20:33-35 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with
a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you: And I will
bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye
are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury
poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will
I plead with you face to face.
Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants
of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me
whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only
son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his
firstborn.
John 19:37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they
pierced.
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they
also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
Even so, Amen.
Hosea 5:15-6:3 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their
offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. Come, and
let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath
smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day
he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we
follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he
shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and
stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children
together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see
me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the
Lord.
Romans 11:25-29 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this
mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is
happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel
shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and
shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I
shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your
sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. For
the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
