First met Secretary who guided me to office
Nurses walking around, assisting Dr. Collina
Dr. Collina + patients interaction
I got to see him use a needle to break up tissue in patients foot

I can see myself in his position in future years (15 yrs)
At first, Id like to work as a part of a sports team but eventually head in a position such as Dr.

Sights, Smells, Sounds, etc.


Brightly lit Doctors office with a view of Costco
Lots of nurses in the office area and patient rooms
Patients either in specific rooms or in the waiting area
Typical Doctors Office smell
Beeps and buzzes of MRI equipment and computer technology
I could see myself working here everyday because of the brightly lit rooms, but
Id rather be outside working instead

Arrived at 10 am and secretary guided me to Doctors Office


Nurses greeted themselves to me
Watched 3 different patients get treated from Dr. Collina
Patient 1: Hurting foot after marathon (treatment: needle treatment to break up damaged tissue
in the foot)
Patient 2: Long-lasting shoulder injury that wouldnt go away (treatment: special ice pack)
Patient 3: Ankle injury from playing basketball (treatment: more time to heal)
Interviewed Dr. Collina, asking questions about the specifics of his job
Follow-Up

He ended day with phone calls to physical therapists regarding patients

Final Thoughts

Negative Aspects:
Busy job
Constant patient visits
Phone calls
Positive:
Great salary -> comfortable lifestyle
Feeling of helping people out
Nice work environment (people + surroundings)
No outside-of-office work (no homework)
