Kingdoms Current Topic

1. Photograph three different organisms from three different kingdoms that you encounter on a daily basis (make sure
you can use one of the organisms for part 2 and 3). Include yourself in each photo so that it is evident that you took the
photo.

A. Embed the photo in a word document.

B. Add a label including

Common name for the organism
What kingdom the organism belongs to.
Type of cells (prokaryotic or eukaryotic)

2. Using the Missouri Conservationist or other Missouri Department of Conservation resource, look up information
about one of your three organisms

3. Write a 2 page, double-spaced article about the organism (description, habitat role in Missouri ecosystems, etc.)
based on information from the Missouri Conservationist.

In addition to the Missouri Conservationist, you may also use other resources.

4. Every resource must be cited in a works cited page using the citation format of your choice (APA, MLA, etc.)
