Keeping it real no matter what… have had our vehicle broken into and damaged, many
things stolen, driven 8,387km’s across four provinces and
said goodbye to three great friends, prayer warriors and
Godly mentors. “Grandma Goetz”, Pastor Victor
Zacharias and seven days ago Natasha’s Grandma
Neufeld all went to be with the Lord.

As Natasha and I were driving to Winnipeg for her

Grandma’s funeral I said to her – what do we do as
Christians when we start losing all the prayer warriors we
have in our lives? You know, the kind of people who pray
for you regularly, encourage you each time you see them,
check up on you just because they care and love you
unconditionally.

There is such value and significance in our seniors – they

Last January when I started writing these monthly updates I
was reminded by friends to “always be real”. Being real is easy
to do when things are going well, but what do you say when
things have been less than flowery during the last month?
That’s where the “keep it real” comment entered my mind as
I started typing this month’s update. In the last 4 weeks we
are the ones who often took great ricks, endured ridicule
and persevered despite the circumstances life thru at them.
In fact it’s with that love and life experience that they
often speak into our lives and give us the insight we so
desperately need. I would often visit Pastor Zach (as we
called him) and we would read from one of his favourite
books in the Bible, Hebrews. This is what I read to him

may spur one another on toward love

We have made many meaningful connections in Salmon
Arm, Abbotsford, Kelowna, Vancouver, Calgary,
Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg and Killarney (the place
where Natasha was born). God is good and we continue to many of them costly and bizarre. Please continue to pray for us
press forward no matter what the obstacles.
As we have highlighted previously we continue to raise
funds for the two remaining projects below. MCF really
needs the ambulance as well as the additional books / desks
for the new children joining the Mully Children’s Family
each month. Please consider whether you would be able to
partner with us in this way going forward. Should you have

On a personal note as you are aware we continue to work to
raise our own support as a family. To date 80% of our budget
for 2010 has come in and for that we are thankful! Natasha and
especially. As many of you are aware this has been our most
challenging month since we started this ministry back in
January with the loss of many close friends / relatives and
many other “hard to believe” mishaps. On almost every front
we seem to be faced with a significant new problem each day,
as we have felt and been told by friends that we are under
attack by the enemy. Thank you for praying for us!
A friend of ours reminded us as she was praying that Hebrews
10: 35-36 says we need to continue to have Patient
Endurance. I don’t think I had ever put those two words
together. It really struck me that I need to be patient – may it
encourage you where you are at today as well.

The Mully Children’s Family has recently added many new destitute children to the home in January.
Additional desk, tables and chairs need to be constructed to accommodate and allow
MCF to continue to provide consistent educational services. MCF has the capacity to
design and make all the required furniture from its Vocational Training and Construction
Dep. The funding raised would go toward purchasing the raw materials needed for the
manufacturing of the needed items. Additional text books and stationary also need to be
purchased to provide the needed school materials for MCF’s new children.
Total needed to be raised = $54,000.00, funds raised to date $630.00.
The MCF Yatta Health Centre and the Ndalani Health Centre are in need of refrigerator freezer to
ensure proper storage of medication and vaccines. One key component of MCF rehabilitation
activities for destitute children is to provide curative and preventative health care as well as
medical care for .children infected by HIV / AIDS. MCF’s clinics have seen an increase in
patients (mainly children and babies) that need to be referred to distant hospitals for vaccines
and medical treatment due to lack of cold storage facilities for the medication. The refrigerators
would enable MCF to provide special onsite medical care for their own children struggling with various diseases as
well as their surrounding community. Total needed to be raised = $5,000.00

Currently MCF does not have the vehicle needed to transport MCF’s beneficiaries as
well as community members to the MCF Ndalani Health Clinic where they have a
doctor permanently stationed. The purchase of an ambulance would allow MCF to
transport their very sick children, who may require special medical care, to the nearest
hospital. The ambulance would also be used to transport sick community members
and mothers who are needing to deliver their babies to the MCF Ndalani Clinic. MCF is also relied upon by the
surrounding communities to transport any dead (corpse) to be buried. Currently they have been forced to use a
pick-up truck. Total needed to be raised = $73,000.00, funds raised to date $21,300.00.
