Antediluvian NEPHILIM and SONS OF GOD

were full humans not spirits!

THE NEPHILIM (Nephilim means Fellers or Bullies) before the flood (Gen 6:4) and the
Nephilim after the flood (Num 13:13) were human giants of great stature like the Anakim (Deut
1:28; 2:21; 9:2). The Nephilim giants after the flood were also variously called Rephaim by the
Amorites, or Emims by the Moabites, or Zamzummim and Zuzim by the Ammonites (Gen 14:5;
Deut 2:10-11, 20-21). Og of Bashan was of Rephaim (Deut 3:11) but the Nephilim giants of
Hebron (Num 13:13, 22) were of Anakim (Josh 15:13-14). There were also Goliath (1Sam 17:4)
and his other brother giants of Philistia (2Sam 21:16-22; 1Chron 20:4-8) and another giant from
Egypt (1Chron 11:23) found in the Scriptures. Fairytales conjectured about the antediluvian
Nephilim which are contrary to Scriptures are speculative myths and cannot be reliable on any
basis.

Notice that…..
Contrary to trending unchristian popular myths and mix-ups, the Bible is clear that the Nephilim
bullies were already among the ungodly “sons of men” before the godly “sons of God”
abandoned their devout pursuit of godliness to start marrying the ungodly “daughters of men”
and gave birth to an apostate evil generation of heroic Gibborim who prided in being renowned
for perpetrating unrestrained wickedness.
Genesis 6:4-5
(4) There were giants[NEPHILIM] in the earth in those days; and also after that, when
the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the
same became mighty men[GIBBORIM] which were of old, men of renown.
(5) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

THE SONS OF GOD were godly descendants of Adam first known to be called ‘the son of
God’ (Luk 1:38) who remained with their father in the presence of God and called upon the
name of God (unlike godless sons of men belonging to the impenitent Cain who angrily left the
presence of God (Gen 4:16) without repentance for his murderousness. So, the sons of God who
married and had offspring that became murderous Mighty Men renowned for pride in
wickedness which led to the Deluge cannot be angels as some curious persons erroneously
mythologize. These antediluvian ‘sons of God’ were godly full humans belonging to the Sethite
Church of Enosh-Enoch revival movements (Gen 4:26; 5:24). The Church that worshipped God
then was called the Sons of God (Bene-ha-Elohim), just as the Church of God today is called
Sons or Children of God (John 1:12; Rom 8:14-16; 2Cor 6:16; Gal 3:26; 4:5-6; Eph 1:5; 1John
3:1). But by their backsliding into unlawful or unequal-yoke mixed marriages with the ungodly
women of Cainite pagans, they gave rise to an apostate evil generation (Gibborim), different
from the giants (Nephilim), who prided in being renown for perpetrating unrestrained
wickedness (Gen 6:4-5) like godless and murderous Lamech (Gen 4:23-24). In absence of any
section of humanity still continuing with the sons of God movement or worshippers of God

except Noah, God therefore destroyed all humanity not (aliens of demons) in the Deluge sparing
Noah’s household who were the only remaining sons of God.

Never forget…
THE SONS OF GOD for today likewise are not some imaginary mythical angels or demons or
aliens, but human Christian believers who belong to the Gospel Church of Christ (John 1:12;
Rom 8:14-17; Gal 4:4-7; Eph 1:5; 1John 3:1-2). The Gospel of Christ teaches that the first
human son of God was Adam (Luk 3:8) and that angels are sexless, so do not marry or
reproduce like humans (Mat 22:28-30; Luk 20:34-36). AND JESUS CANNOT BE WRONG
OR BE A LIAR! It is therefore incontrovertible Gospel basics that there is nothing more and
nothing less than these truths:
1. In HEAVENLY realms, sons (or children) of God are always asexual spirits, whether
they are angels or demons or translated/resurrected souls or whatever.
2. On EARTHLY realms, sons (or children) of God are always sexual humans, whether
they are giants or pigmies/dwarfs, mighty/renown men or weak/unknown men, or
whatever.
3. Angels (faithful or fallen) can neither marry nor have offspring under the sun
except in cunningly devised fables or myths.
4. God’s creation is such that BEARING OFFSPRING UNDER THE SUN IS NEVER
FOR SPIRITS, but only possible for reproductive beings who CAN PROCREATE
ONLY AFTER THEIR OWN KIND – not after another kind. That is why we do not have
humans born by angels/demons today. Humans could only be possessed by demons or
initiated into demonic bondage or be devoted to demons, but NEVER procreated by
demons.
According to Christian Gospel therefore, angels and demons do not marry except in
spurious and curious myths; and they cannot give birth to offspring that are not after their
kind except in pagan or Jewish fables. No other Gospel basis is there for mythologizing,
arguing or twisting Scriptures to futility and speculating to fallacy. Once one curiously departs
from this Gospel axiom to go into myths like the pagans cunningly devise, then you are on your
own upon uncharted waters!
Titus 1:14
(14) Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the
truth.

2Peter 1:16
(16) For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you
the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

The following Scriptures show that “sons of God” or “children of God” refer to physical human
beings on this side of life who believe, follow or worship God.
Deuteronomy 14:1-2
(1) Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make
any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
(2) For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen
thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

 Isaiah 43:6
(6) I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from
afar, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Isaiah 45:11
(11) Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to
come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, you command me.

Hosea 1:10
(10) Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot
be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said
unto them, you are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, you are the sons of the
living God.

Luke 3:38
(38) Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam,
which was the son of God.

John 1:12
(12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:

John 10:34-36
(34) Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, You are gods?
(35) If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot
be broken;
(36) Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You
blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Psalms 82:6-7
(6) I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
(7) But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Romans 8:14-19
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
(15) For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit
of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
(16) The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God:
(17) and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint–heirs with Christ; if so be that
we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.
(18) For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
(19) For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons
of God.

(26) And it shall be, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people,
There shall they be called sons of the living God.

Galatians 3:26
(26) For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 2:15
(15) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the
midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

1John 3:1-2
(1) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be
called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
(2) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:
but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he
is.

All the above “sons of God” referred to normal sexual humans in the flesh under the sun on
earth, NOT ANGELS (faithful or fallen).

So, the sons of God in Genesis cannot differ but also refer to humans on earth whom God judged
and drowned with the flood. After all, spirits or angels or demons don't drown in water.
Genesis 6:1-6
(1) And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and
daughters were born unto them,
(2) That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them
wives of all which they chose.
(3) And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is
flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
(4) There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of
God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became
mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
(5) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every
imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
(6) And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at
his heart.

People who do not believe God's Scriptures as taught by Christ and do not know the power of
God in creation as Christ pointed out in Mat 22:28-30, fabricate myths from twisted erroneous
speculation by out-of-context misinterpretations of some texts, and expect Bible believers to
heed their fairytales! Jesus’ teaching that ANGELS HAVE NO SEX AND DO NOT
MARRY is final incontrovertible truth superior to all erroneous myths. Angels cannot
impregnate themselves to reproduce after their kind and can never impregnate any human.

Creatures can only reproduce AFTER THEIR KIND as created by God in Genesis 1 and 2,
not after another kind as the fairy tellers conjecture to insinuate. God would not make human or
even any life come out of angels or demons mating with humans in Gen 6, because there is
nothing like creatures of a strange “angelo-human” kind made by God in Gen 1. Superstition,
speculations and myths are not truth but falsehood. Some even rush to spurious apocryphal
“book of Enoch” to support their fairy tales when they have not finished believing plain verified
and canonical Scriptures. The funniest part is that Enoch was not even there when the
Children of God backslid to become evil Gibborim generation, because Enoch had long
gone to heaven 800 years before the birth of Noah and his evil generation! How could
Enoch report what he did not see or hear! The fabricators of the Book of Enoch should
have written that he predicted the apostasy not report it. Some even use this false
manipulation of Scriptures to explain experiences of subjection to demonic familiar spirits so-
called “succubus-incubus” or spirit-husband and spirit-wife, succubus-incubus does not lead to
pregnancies or giant offspring! This demonic bondage experience may have been there from the
time of Cain, but has nothing to do with the Nephilim giants or Giborrim mighty men of Genesis
6.

Some deduce their “sexed angel” theory by erroneous chronology, muddling up of the
PRELAPSORIAN “casting the sinful angels into pits of darkness” (2Pet 2:4) to be the same
event as the DILUVIAN “bringing the flood on ungodly world” (2Pet 2:5)! Why do they not
also muddled up these to be same as the POSTDILUVIAN “turning Sodom and Gomorrah into
ashes” (2Pet 2:6)? After all, Saint Peter mentioned these three together in 2Pet 2:4-6. Demons
fell from their Angelic estate PRELAPSORIAN, before Satan went to tempt Adam and Eve in
Eden. The fall of Angels did NOT occur POSTLAPSORIAN, after the fall of Adam – nor did the
demons wait until as late as the DILUVIAN generation of Noah to fall from angelic to demonic
estate!

Key questions one must ask those who speculate the Nephilim to be sexed-angel or sexed-demon
or sexed-spirit are these:
1. If the sons of God in Genesis 6 were angels/demons/spirits, why was Genesis 6 insisting
that it was the sins of HUMANS that God was judging not sins of angels?
2. By the way, do angels drown in flood?
3. Again, Og of Bashan, Goliath of Gath and the Anakim of Hebron were
Nephilim/giants/etc, why were they also not fathered by angels and demons and spirits?

Demons/spirits/angels don't reproduce humans, they only possess humans who submit to
them.
Angels/Demons/Fallen Angels/Spirits can't give life as pagans and myths purport, they can
only invade/abuse/possess life already created by God.
Only God the Creator gives life and God has created all things to only reproduce after their
kinds.

In the Scriptures below, “sons of God” may appear to refer to sexless spirit beings if in heavenly
realms not physical being on earth who could marry. But if on earth as Job 1:6 and 2:1 are meant
to be, since CERTAIN DAYS do not exist in heaven, then it is surely people of God who gather

to worship on a certain day, not angels. Again, since Satan had been cast out and down from
heaven (Rev 12:9), he could only come where human sons of God gather before God to accuse
them on certain earthly days like Job of Uz (Job 1:6; 2:1) and Joshua the High Priest (Zec 3:1-2)
because he cannot appear in heaven among angels except in cunningly devised fables and myths
which the Apostolic Church ensured they never followed (2Pet 1:16).
Job 1:6
(6) Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the
LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Job 38:7
(7) When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Therefore, throwing away all conjectured myths and speculative fables, we deduce the following
axiomatic dictums authenticated by all Scriptures:
 In heavenly realms, sons (or children) of God are always asexual spirits, whether
they are angels or demons or souls or whatever.
 On earthly realms, sons (or children) of God are always sexual humans, whether
they are giants or pigmies/dwarfs, mighty/renown men or weak/unknown men, or
whatever.

Key to exactitude is being diligent to distinguish between mythical hypotheses based on human
LOGIC, and Scriptural hermeneutics based on Divine LOGOS.
