This Indenture made the Eighteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and thirty four Between Alanson Parks and Lorilla his wife if the County of Oakland M.T. of
the first part and Smith Parks of the same place of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said parties of
the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of
the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby [c]onfessed and acknowledged have granted, bargained,
Sold, [re]missed, released, aliened, and confirmed, And by these presents do Grant, Bargain, Sell,
Remise, Release Alien and conf[irm] unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assi[gns]
forever. All that certain Tract or parcel of Land situate and Lying and being in the Township of Novi
County Aforesaid [?] a part of the East half of the South East Quarter in Township One North of
Range Eight East. and Section Fifteen commencing at the quarter stake of said Fifteen then
Running [an] Easterly course Along said Section line Twenty Rods thence Running a Northerly
course until it Intersects the Turnpike line thence Running Along said Turnpike line to the corner
stake to Lands owned by Willis Pardee. thence a Southerly course to the place of beginning
supposed to contain six Acres and Twenty Rods of Land be the same more or less

Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances hereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents, iss[ues] and profits
thereof: and all the Estate, right, title, interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first
part Either in Law or Equity of in and to the above bargained premises the said hereditaments and
appurtenances—To have and to hold the said premises as above described with the appurtenances unto
the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever And the said parties of the first part
for themselves their heirs Executors and Administrators do covenant grant bargain and agree to and with
the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that at the time of the Ensealing and delivering of
these presents they were well seized of the premises above conveyed, as of a good, sure, perfect,
absolute, and indefeasible Estate of Inheritance in the Law in fee simple and that the above bargained
premises, in the quiet and peaceable possess[ion[ of the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns against all and every person or persons Lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part
thereof they will forever War[rant] and defend—In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have
hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written

County of Oakland } ss. Be it remembered that on the 18th day of June 1834 came before Me Elijah
G Cook a J[ustice] of the Peace in & for the County Aforesaid the within nam[ed] Alanson Parks and
Lorilla his wife the persons [?] and who have Executed the within Deed and acknowledged that they
severally signed sealed and delivered the said Deed for the uses & purposes therein mentioned And the
said Lorilla being by me privately Examined apart from her said Husband acknowledged that she
executed the [with]in Deed freely without any fear or compulsion of her said husband [a]ll which I do
accordingly certify
