whattheymeaninsheetmetaldesign.Nowletsseehowwecanobtainthesevaluesfor
aspecificsheet.

AsImentionedinmylastpostyouneedtodosometeststocalculatethesevaluesfora
specificsheet.Thesetestsincludebendingsomesamplesandthendosome
measurementsandcalculations.

Considerasheetwitha20mmthicknessandalengthof300mmasshowninFigure1.
Wearegoingtoreviewthreebendingscenarioswiththreedifferentbendingangles60,
90and120,andwewillcalculateKFactor,BendAllowanceandBendDeductionfor
them.Thebendingtoolhasaradiusof30mmwhichmeansthatourInsideBendRadius
(R)is30mm.Letsstartwith90degreesbendwhichisthemostsimplescenario.
