Traffic Advisory: 2017 Congressional Baseball Game


(Washington, DC)-The Metropolitan Police Department and the Department of Transportation
would like to inform the public of street closures in conjunction with the 2017 Congressional
Baseball game scheduled to begin at 7 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

The following streets will be closed, except to emergency vehicles, beginning at 4:00 pm

Half Street from M to N streets, Southeast

The following streets will be closed to all traffic EXCEPT: emergency vehicles, local
residents with building passes and Nationals Park parking garage pass holders beginning
at 4:00 pm

N Street from New Jersey Avenue to South Capitol Street, Southeast


First Street from M Street to Potomac Avenue, Southeast
Potomac Avenue from First Street to South Capitol Street, Southeast

Parking restrictions will go into effect from 3:00 pm until the end of game in the following
areas:

New Jersey Avenue from M Street to N Street, Southeast

Rush hour and standard Nationals Park game parking restriction will also be enforced
during the game.

Motorists traveling in the area of this event may experience delays and should consider
alternative routes, if possible. The Metropolitan Police Department and the District
Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to pay full attention
whenever operating any motor vehicle and to be mindful of heavy pedestrian traffic that
may be associated with special events. These street closings are subject to change without
notice based upon unanticipated events and prevailing conditions.
