About Workshop
IIT-B is organizing 6th Gleeble User Workshop India (GUWI) on 15-17 Jun 17 at IIT Bombay
Workshop serves as a gathering for researchers in the field of thermo-mechanical simulation on a Gleeble
system across academia, research lab & industries
Workshop is being organized as National Conference on Physical Simulation of Thermal-Mechanical
Processing of Materials (NC-PSTMPM).
GUWI workshop series is organized in turn by one of the Gleeble owner.
Hands-on workshop on June 15, 2017 for current and new users.
Participating organizations: IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, SAIL, NML, TATA Steel, DMRL, IIT Madras, BHEL, TRDDC,
GE India, IPR, VJTI, ABSTC, BARC, NMRL etc.
Key Speakers: Dr.Rajeev Kapoor BARC, Dr. Vinod Kumar SAIL, Gopinath - Tata Steel, Director DRDL etc.

L&T
Completely new domain for us.
RNG has participated in one workshop at IIT Madras.
