MISSION
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
5. Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and
modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex
engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
6. The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to
assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent
responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
7. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering
solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of,
and need for sustainable development.
8. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and
norms of the engineering practice.
11. Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the
engineering and management principles and apply these to ones own work, as a
member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary
environments.
12. Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to
engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological
change.
CO1(C216.1) Explain the concepts of graph theory and its applications to network analysis.
CO3(C216.3) Analyze transient and steady state response of first and second order circuit for arbitrary
inputs.
CO4(C216.4) Determine the network functions and different parameters pertaining to one port and
two port networks.
CO5(C216.5) Synthesize an electrical network using driving point function and describe filters and
attenuators.
PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSO)
PSO1: Demonstrate appropriate knowledge to utilize modern engineering hardware and software
tools in all areas of Power System to engage in lifelong learning and ensure adaptability to multi
disciplinary areas with sustainable, economical, environmental and ethical solution to society.
PSO2: Apply engineering knowledge in the field of Power Electronics, Electric drives and Machines
to identify, formulate, analyze, design and implement complex engineering problems to provide
professional engineering solutions as per the norms of ethical engineering practices.
PSO3: Identify, formulate, analyze, develop and implement solutions in the area of control system
and its allied fields with the realization of the need for lifelong learning and demonstration of
contextual knowledge for sustainable development.
