A319/A320/A321 Aircraft

IAE V2500-A5 series engines :

Forward thrust links replacement (ATA 71)

APPLICABILITY :

This Airworthiness Directive applies to AIRBUS INDUSTRIE A319-131, A320-232, A320-233, A321-131
and A321-231 aircraft models, all serial numbers without AIRBUS INDUSTRIE modification 26506 in
production or without AIRBUS INDUSTRIE Service Bulletin A320-71-1020 in service.

REASON :

Fatigue tests have revealed that the fatigue life limit of the thrust link was not appropriate to the objective
life limit of the aircraft.

ACTION :

At defined threshold according to the following table, replace all titanium thrust links with steel thrust
links.
