Leading the students through the
necessary steps to complete the
task. Work through multiple
examples.

Review/Wrap-up the lesson with
Tell me/Show me.
*2) Anticipatory Set:
Short activity/prompt that
focuses the student before the
lesson begins. Used as
student enters class for the
day or in transition.
*4) Modeling:
Showing/Demonstrating what
the finished
assignment/project/etc. should
look like.
*6) Check for
Understanding:
Use of a variety of higher order
thinking questions to ensure
students understand the
assignment and have attained
the necessary skills.
*7) Independent Practice:
The students are released to practice
on their own based on Input and to
Check for Understanding.
