Having a student-teacher in your childs classroom

February 1, 2017

Dear Families,

I have the privilege to work at cole Cobble Hill this spring as a student-
teacher from Vancouver Island University. I will be teaching in Mme. Vickis
class during the week of March 6-10, and from April 10 - May 12.

I feel very lucky!

My goal is to support each student to feel successful and proud of their

learning. My teaching will be focused on math and literacy. I hope to provide
the class with rich opportunities to experiment and play as they learn.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the attached survey to help me to get to
know your child better.

I have filled out the survey myself, so that you can learn about me too.

A bientt,
Lisa Dumoulin

ABOUT MME. LISA DUMOULIN
I have filled out the survey too, so that you and your child can learn more about me.

The most important people in my life are my husband and our families.

My favourite activities are camping, riding my bike, eating and cooking.

You can always get my attention by letting me know that you need it tap me
on the shoulder in class, or send an email: lkdumoulin@gmail.

You might want to be careful about: Sometimes, I wont be able to answer your
questions right away in class. Be patient. I havent forgotten about you!

If I am is upset, it is most helpful to act like a good friend.

Onething that might surprise you about me is that I grew up in Ontario, and
moved to Vancouver Island 10 years ago.

The best way you can help me as a teacher is to let your child know that you
care about them every day.

My hopes and dreams are to inspire my students to love learning and to care
for one another.
