Bus Service Contract

School year of 2017-2018

School
1. ASU will arrange bus directions and time managements. The bus will drop off and pick
up students in the morning and afternoon from main roads of Ulaanbaatar city.
2. There will be a Supervisor on each bus.
3. School will manage and organize the bus and provide safety services.
4. School Administration will have the right to change the bus number or route of the bus
if there is a change in the students participating in the bus service.
Students
1. Students will be seated with their seatbelts fastened before the bus departs.
2. Students are expected to speak in a quite tone of voice and use acceptable language.
3. No eating or drinking is allowed on the bus.
4. Students can open the bus window with Bus Supervisor permission and should act in
a safe manner by keeping their hands and feet inside the bus at all times.
5. Students are expected to be courteous and respectful towards the bus supervisor and
fellow students. RUDENESS TO DRIVERS AND SUPERVISOR WILL NOT BE
ALLOWED. The Supervisor will report all students misbehavior to the Assistant
Principal, who will take action accordingly. This will involve the Student Service officer
calling the parents of child concerned. A second complaint may lead to suspension of
bus riding privileges.
6. The changing of clothes on the bus is forbidden.
7. No pets are allowed on the bus.
8. Dangerous and sharp objects such as pocket knives cannot be carried on the bus.
Pencils, pens, toys, etc., should be kept inside school bags.
9. Students will be at their assigned bus stop at least ten (10) minutes before the
scheduled bus arrival time.
10. Students will be dropped off ONLY at the school, their own home or the designated
after school bus drop off points. NO PROVISION CAN BE MADE FOR STUDENTS
TAKING FRIENDS HOME WHO NORMALLY TRAVEL ON ANOTHER BUS OR BY
CAR.
11. Students will cross at least three (3) meters in front of the bus both in the a.m. and
p.m. if it is necessary for them to cross the road.
12. Do not attempt to board the bus after it has begun to move.
Parents
1. Parents are requested to bring their children 10 minutes before scheduled time to the
designated bus point.
2. If the parent (for elementary school students) is NOT at the bus drop-off stop, the
student will remain on the bus with the driver and supervisor. The school will call the
parents to have them pick up the child from school.
3. Parents should only deal with the Bus Supervisor or Student Services (976-11-341501
or email: es.studentservices@asu.edu.mn and not directly with the bus driver.
4. If your child will not be using the bus at any time for whatever reason the Bus
Supervisor must be advised in order to avoid the bus waiting for pick-up and being
delayed unnecessarily.
5. If drivers are continuously kept waiting by certain children, then a report will be made
to the Administration office. If the situation continues, parents will be asked to make
alternative arrangements.

6. If the buses fail to turn up within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick-up time, due to
unforeseen circumstances, parents may claim taxi fare from the Student Services
Office by submitting a written claim.
7. Parents should bear the costs of damage to the bus caused by their child.
8. If a parent wishes to terminate the use of the bus, written notification must be given to
the Student Service officers.
9. No refund will be made for students who are suspended by School.
