Key Aims and Objectives

Perform project specific quality management and assurance activities as detailed in


the Project Quality Plan, Site Quality Control Plan and as directed and instructed
by the Project Manager / Business Assurance Manager.
Take ownership of and complete successfully Quality Development Plans in a timely
manner.
Promotes a positive Quality Culture through the working environment.
Pro-actively supports the project to achieve project quality deliverables

Prime Responsibilities and Duties

Auditing of Applied business processes


Collate and follow up closure of NCRs
Advise and assist project on the application of AmecFW procedures
Assist in the development of the Project Quality Plan, Site Quality Control Plan
Record and report non-conformances and ensure timely close out and pro-actively
identify and report potential non-conformances
Investigation and close out of NCRs
Verification of Site Documents and Records
Undertake identified Quality training needs
Verification of site operations
Verification of records and equipment (calibration)
Document control of latest revision and master
Produce monthly reports/quality statistics
Ensure inspection and test records (including sub-contractors) completed, managed
and compiled
Maintain Site Quality Control Plan
Review Supplier ITP
Review Subcontractor RAMS and/or ITP in line with project requirements
Assist in the review and maintenance of the Project Quality Plan
Attend project meetings if required
Supervise/co-ordinate any inspectors and auditors
Ensure and support final documentation requirements
Ensure the review of supplier test reports/certification
Follows up with actions resulting from external audits with a view to fast tracking
closure of non-conformance
Suggests and negotiates with the BA Manager improvements to invert negative trends
impacting the project
Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified, controlled and retained
in accordance with project, client and regulatory requirements.
Provide QMS performance data as requested by the BA Manager for reporting purposes.
Undertake training as identified and agreed
Skills / Qualifications
Essential
Educated to HNC Level
Good computing skills including Excel, Windows, MS-Word, MS-Mail, Intranet,
Internet, Adobe Acrobat
Good working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004
standards
Maintain high standards of work within the BA department
Adhere to and positively promote quality standards within T&D
Experience working construction/civil
Desirable
Educated to Diploma / Degree level
IOSH Managing Safely
IRCA Approved Internal Auditor
City and Guilds 17th Edition
