KidPix


KidPix was a very fun and engaging program to use. The possibilities for students creations are
endless, they can include audio using their own voice, apply background music and include a
variety of animations including animals and instruments. This program gives students the
opportunity to apply creativity to their presentations while expanding on their use and
understanding of technology. For this activity, I was required to create a narrative using the
animations and tools available through the program. After writing my story I was able to bring it
to life by including pictures of my characters and depicting the instruments they played
throughout the story. I was also able to add background music, this fit perfectly with the theme
of the story. KidPix is an excellent tool for students to use, it enables them to apply creativity and
further develop their reading and writing skills.
