In our opinion, the most important element of Toyotas organizational structure is the Toyota

way of doing things especially TPS (Toyota Production System). This system has made Toyota
to be a unique automobile company. It has greatly improved the quality and performance of
the company since it was introduced. It marks Toyotas sustainable competitive position.
Therefore, the company should strengthen this system. However, the company needs to make
the changes identified above to ensure that this system works best including removing the
bureaucracies in the company. Ultimately, an improved organizational structure with a
supportive organization culture will prevent future product recalls that will damage Toyotas
reputation and cause the company to loose do.
