LAKELAND TRUCE

The goal of this agreement is to bring together a divided community. It is time to stop the arguing,
name calling, and negativity. It is time to work together as a community FOR the community.

Sources of negativity need to be removed which are but not limited to:

YouTube channels that portray our politicians and our citizens in a negative light such as
Lakeland Forward and the Lakeland CCL YouTube channels
Both the cclfacts.com and concernedcitizensoflakeland.com will still stay up but all the content
will be removed except for the home page which will feature this document

The following changes will be made to Facebook:

All Lakeland citizens can be members and participate in the Lakeland TN page and will not be
muted
All Lakeland citizens can be members and participate in the Concerned Citizens page and will not
be muted
If you are a parent with a child in Lakeland schools, you are allowed in to the Support Lakeland
Schools page and will not be muted.
If you are a member of the PTA, you are allowed in to the Lakeland PTA page and will not be
muted.

Access to these groups are to be for the benefit for the group and not used as a new avenue for
argument and controversy. Disagreement is and negative news is a natural occurrence in lif e and exists
within a city. The citizens and its leaders recognize that reality. The goal of bringing up this information
must be to have a constructive conversation with solutions in mind, not to bomb throw, name call and
point fingers.

If an individual is breaking the agreement, people from their own side or a neutral side needs to police it
and stop it. Otherwise, if the other side intervenes it will lead to argument, name calling and the
ultimate destruction of this truce. The other group CANNOT attack that person. It is up to each group to
police their own people or non-group members.

Items that will not be tolerated:

Personal attacks
Name calling
Branding people
Attributing the action of an individual to an entire group
No vilification of a group of people

This code of conduct will apply to all social media platforms including nextdoor.com

This agreement will also be posted to the internal groups and the leaders of the respective groups will
explain to their members that these are the rules we are agreeing to play by, and that if you break the
rules you will be stopped by the members of your own group.

Internal Notes and will not be posted on the websites:

Keep this in mind during the negotiations please do not put in Poison Pills into this agreement. This
would be something that cannot be done or would not be done. An example would be Unless John Doe
agrees that they were the biggest source of discontent. etc.

Special note we have no control over Jim Bomprezzi on any given day he dislikes CCL people as much
as others. We are open to suggestions on how to deal with him. Do not insert a poi son pill around him.
We have as much control over him as we do when the sun sets.

We feel it is important that key people who have been involved in the past public ally agree to the terms
and conditions of this agreement and be the key people in policing their own members.

I imagine Stephanie Lefler would be one the picks from the other side, who would the other 4 be?

This agreement will be posted to respective internal groups. With the full support of its key members.

After we agree and have acknowledgement that both sides members are at least mostly in agreement
with the truce, it will be signed by Matt Wright and Stephanie Lefler and will be posted to CCLfacts.com
and ConcernCitizensOfLakeLand.com, all other content on those sites will be removed, and the YouTube

content will be removed. One week will be provided to remove any posts from the social media sites or
posts that will violate the code of conduct (to discourage future arguments, finger-pointing and gotcha
posts). After 1 week access to these Facebook pages will be granted and any muted members will be
unmuted. At this time, internal policing will begin.

If there is severe and constant breach of this agreement, each side reserves the right to re-publish and
content that had been taken offline.
