1. Meetings
(What is the team consensus about when, where, and how often to have team meetings? What is expected of members with
regard to attendance, timeliness, and preparation? Also, what is the balance between work and fun?)

Meeting time: Will occur every week on Monday after EGB100 tutorial
Location: P block
Attendance: Members must inform with 24 hours of notice if they are unable to attend.
Messages via social Media platforms such as Facebook will be accepted, E-mails will be
given preference. This will be practiced to maintain a professional work environment
within the team.
Preparation: All research should be undertaken by each member before meetings take
place as meeting will be used purely for discussion

2. Working
(What the team expects from one another about standards, deadlines, how equally effort and work should be distributed, how
work will be reviewed, and what to do if people do not follow through on commitments?)

All members will be required to complete work which has been given to them to
complete, work will be distributed based on the skills and strengths of particular
members. If members do not follow up on commitments this will be brought up in
meetings and they will be given till next meeting to complete in complete work and any
extra work given if this does not work the issue will be brought up with our tutor.

3. Communication
(When should communication take place, who is responsible, how should it be done (phone, email, etc.) and how will the team
discuss feelings about the team or members? By what means and in what manner will the members communicate with one
another across different media like phone, e-mail, etc?)

Communication will take place mainly through the Facebook app messenger but also
through our QUT email. In these communication platforms, there will be a freedom to
discuss any issues about team members if required.

4. Leadership
(How the team decides who should takes the lead role for what aspects of our work? What expectations do team have for how
those in leadership roles should act?)

The team will appoint a task manager by discussion and agreement, the task manager will
be responsible for coordinating certain project activities. The role of the task manager will
alternate among members of the team at different tasks, allowing all team members to
have opportunities in leading the team during certain tasks.

5. Considerations
(How will team members treat one another personally while working together? How should minority viewpoints be treated,
and how we will manage the time during our meetings? What information will we consider to be confidential?)

Team members will treat each other both in a professional and respectful manner while
working together. No team member will be discriminated based on ones race, religion,
gender, sexual orientation or any other personal attributes.

All viewpoints from any members will be treated respectably and will be listened to. All
views and opinions of every member will be listened to objectively. Decisions will be made
on the merit of the viewpoints presented, personal attributes as mentioned above will
have no impact on the decision making process

In terms of what will be considered confidential, information relating to the team

assignment/ project details/ project strategy will be kept confidential. If members wish to
make any other such material confidential this should be brought up to the team. The
team will discuss and decide if that should be done.

In the event of disagreement between team members, every member will be given the
opportunity to express opinions on the disagreement. A vote will proceed thereafter to
settle the matter. Time management will be addressed by creating an agenda prior to the
meeting.

6. Accountability
(What are the consequences for violating each of the agreements weve established above? Who will decide and how will this
be enforced?)

If any members violate the set agreements this will firstly be brought up with the member
to see if the issue can be resolved and if they violate the agreements a second time this
will be brought up with the tutor or any other authorised individual. All team members
are expected to politely and openly discuss regarding accountability issues among team

members. Its preferred that members resolve conflicts among themselves and should
bring the conflict to the attention of the tutor/authorised individuals as the final resort.
