Job Description: Earth Energy Renewables (EER) is searching for a highly experienced hard
working individual with experience in electrical and/or electronics work. The
electrician/technician will perform electrical work on equipment and system
repair, maintenance, testing and installation tasks to a variety of operations
within Earth Energy Renewables Demonstration and Research Facility.
Troubleshoot and repair or replace wiring circuits different equipment and
their controls, computerized motor controls, programmable logic controllers
other related measuring equipment. Install, troubleshoot and repair, replace
and maintain a variety of electrical systems and apparatus including pumps,
motors, VFDs, and controllers, such as temperature and flow controllers as
well as their possible integration with a SCADA system. Identify and acquire
parts for replacement, maintenance and other work required in accordance
with established procurement procedures. Wire, connect, test and maintain
new service or systems. Respond to scheduled or emergency situations as
assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Actively collaborate with the R&D team during piloting of EER


technology to install and maintain electronic equipment.
Brainstorm and provide advice from expertise to the R&D team as to
the most adequate installation or set up for the proper and efficient
operation of different electric and electronic equipment
Promptly troubleshoot and repair equipment that stars to malfunction.
This might require to be on call as necessary.
Collaborate and participate in some engineering work.
Help with the general operation of the facilities as needed in support of
co-workers and colleagues
Act and perform work in a professional and safe manner that reflects
positively on the company and the engineering profession;
Qualifications

Required:
GED or high school . degree in Chemical Engineering.
Certified Electrician highly preferred
Familiarity with OSHA and other applicable codes and standards
10+ years in the field.
Eligibility to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).

Preferred but not required:


College degree in engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer
