INDIVIDUAL GAME RECORDS

Bishop Kelley opened its doors in 1959-1960.

The Football team played its first game in the fall of 1959.

Comet Traditions began.

Sometime around 1997-1998, Mark Foster '82 assembled a history of the Bishop Kelley Football
program. It didn't come easy. He had to "dig" for more information. The Tulsa World provided him with
game scores and articles from the previous 37 years. However, specific information, which had been
contained in school record books, was scarce. Some scorebooks were still around. Others may have
perished in the fire. And other records may have just been "lost." Still he persevered.

Sometime in the early 2000's, I managed to find out about this history. I had started putting sports info
on our new "BK web site." In the summer of 2008, I began to think that we needed to update the history
book. So I tracked down any records I could from 1997 up to the present. And so I began to merge the
past 13 years with the previous 37 years. I used the same categories that Mark had grouped the
previous Stats in. I ended up with 3 main sections - Season Records, Career Records and Individual
Game Records.

It is now the summer of 2010 and I am still adding and compiling the yearly stats for the BK football
program. As of this writing, everything is up to date. If you look through these stats and happen to
have an article that would show a change in a stat, please contact me. If I have typed something
incorrectly, please contact me. We can then work it out together.
