Immigration Process
Applying for Australian Immigration is a 5 stage process.

Stage 1: Skills Assessment

According to DIBP (Department of Immigration and Border Protection) we must obtain positive skill
assessment from relevant Assessing Authority before applying for expression of interest. In your case the
relevant assessing authority is Engineers Australia (EA).

Processing Time: 12 weeks

Application Fee: A$ 750/-

Stage 2: Expression of interest

After getting the positive skill assessment we apply for the Expression of Interest to Department of
Immigration and Border Protection, which serves as part of your visa application.

Stage 3: State sponsorship

After lodging the EOI application, we apply for the state sponsorship

Stage 4: EOI Invitation/ Visa Application

As we receive the invitation, we lodge final visa application to Department of Immigration and Border
Protection.

Spouse Fee: A$ 1800/- (non refundable)
Per child: A$ 900/- (non refundable)
Stage 5: Medical & Police Clearance

After lodging the visa application we have to provide the medical and police clearance certificates to
DIBP, after dully clearance of both reports Visa has been granted.
