FCT Protocol for handing over when going on leave and off duty

The purpose of this document is to help team members prepare and hand over tasks in a
documented format early enough especially when going for leave and off duty for more
than a day.

Note: This document exempts unpredicted urgent off duty requests. However, where
possible please prepare this report to assist when you are not in the office. I propose
to have this template and all other completed documents using the table format below
be attached on the FCT calendar wiki page.

This is what we intend to follow:


1. Document all the tasks that you are working on including all assigned and
pending tasks
2. Indicating how far you are for each task and provide the content of your work so
far on the wiki or via e-mail to the fct list-serv
3. Indicate what are the priorities depending on your tasks(what needs to be finished
before moving to the next task on your list of to do)
4. Discuss with the person you are handing over to and give their names
5. It would assist to complete tasks before you proceed for leave to assist the person
you are handing over to begin with new pending ones.
6. The table below indicates tentative contents of your hand over report:

7. Lastly, notify the team via FCT list-serv and share the wiki link under FCT with
the details of the above table.
