We discussed MyPlate USDA guidelines and recommended intakes for
each food group.

Activity: We compared highly processed foods to calorically comparable


fruits and vegetables in a group activity.

We discussed various Chick-fil-a and Red Lobster items emphasizing total
calories, sodium, and fat in comparison to other healthier items on the
menu.

Activity: We approximated how much physical activity was needed to


burn off the calories consumed by certain high-calorie items.

Learning Objective Activity #3
We discussed the benefits of physical activity beyond weight loss and
the ACSM recommended guidelines for physical activity per day.

We discussed additional ways to engage in physical activity and how to


stay physically active on campus and at home.

Activity: We conducted a chair yoga activity, inclusive of modified


chair-dips and chair push-ups.

Summative Evaluation
This would have been based on our post-test results, which would have
demonstrated the knowledge gained from audience members, following
our informative workshop.

We included two additional feedback questions on our post-test, which


asked about: 1) our workshops strengths and 2) what improvements
could have been made to our workshop.
