Overview

It is a multinational of drinks of Peruvian origin. It is the fourth largest non-alcoholic

beverage company in terms of sales volume and the third largest carbonate producer in those

countries in which it operates.

With the firm commitment to democratize consumption, it is aimed at new consumer groups.

With 28 years in the market, it reaches a population of more than millions of millions of

consumers in the countries where it operates, supplying more than 1,560,000 points of sale.

Location

Aje with location principal in Ayacucho (Peru). Ajegroup operate in Brasil, Costa

Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Nigeria, Guatemala, Honduras,


India, Indonesia, Thailand, Venezuela, Vietnam, and Egypt. Its portfolio includes

beverages, juices, nectars, light beverages, bottled natural water, dairy and beer. It

manages 17 trademarks in 48 different presentations of PET and glass bottles, and

cans.
Distribution

Industries AJE added to its distribution network to micro entrepreneurs who, with their own

means of transport, are in charge of distributing the product by the different assigned areas, which

contributed to the rapid growth of sales, since the need to invest in Distribution network.

Currently the company reaches 180 thousand points of sale in Peru. Our distribution model is

designed to respond to the specific needs of emerging markets. 92% of AJE's sales are to external

distributors and to small retailers. Sales through wholesalers account for 8% of our sales. This

model is efficient and gives us the ability to enter emerging markets quickly and establish a

distribution system with local partners and small business owners. AJE currently has more than 100

distribution centers worldwide. Our brands are available in 23 countries in Latin America, Asia and

Africa.

AJE aims to become one of the 20 largest multinationals in the world by 2020.

How will do?

AJE will continue to bet on the Asian market. Hoping to have a second plant in Thailand and

raise its turnover from US $ 343 million to US $ 448 million.


The AJE is considering franchising and no longer directly, its business in Brazil, Mexico,

Venezuela, Thailand and Indonesia, which will help improve its credit profile, the company said.
