EMU Surgical Center Appoints John Kim, MD Medical Director

of John Kim, MD to Medical Director. Dr. Kim is a Board-Certified ophthalmologist with offices in the
Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens. Dr. Kim earned his Medical Degree at SUNY-Downstate and did
specialized training in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the prestigious Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns
Hopkins. Dr. Kim is the former Director of Residency Training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine
and Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Kim will assist and advise EMU Surgical Center on procedures and
matters pertaining to quality assurance, medical policies, and efficiencies. Daniel Lowy, CEO and
