BUSKING - Competition Rules

Individual participation or team participation ( A team of Max. 4 People )

Performance time is 4 minutes per participant.
After all the participants have performed they will be given 1 minute to
make a vote appeal.
Faculties can also participate however their performances won't be
evaluated.
Audience will be provided with the currency i.e. Coins at the end of all the
performances the teams / individuals will make a vote appeal.
Vote can be casted by giving the coin to the team / individual.
The team / individual who maximizes profit will be declared the winner.
The winner can will retain the entire profit i.e. the total currency being float
in the competition.
All participants will be provided participation certificates and the winners
will be awarded appropriately.
Song Selections
Songs can be Hindi , Regional Language or English ( Genre no bar i.e.
Bollywood , Folk , Classical , Rock , Blues , Etc. All Genres accepted!!! )
Songs must not contain any abusive language or vulgarity and should be in
line with the Rules and Regulation of MITSOB.
You need to bring your karaoke tracks if you wish to perform with tracks.
You can also play your own musical instrument while performing.
If in case you need an accompanist for your performance i.e. a guitarist ,
you will need to inform the club members beforehand along with the final
song set list. The club will provide assistance in this matter.
Any Violation of song selection criteria will result in immediate
disqualification.
Rules of the competition can be changed at any time and prior notice will
be given to all if in case any changes are made.
