Dr Anthony Hogan

The Expo will be Officially Opened by Dr Anthony Hogan - Fellow, National Centre for
Epidemiology and Population Health, Australian National University.
Dr Hogan will present a paper : „Hearing and Well Being‟
“Under-managed hearing loss impacts on your physical and mental wellbeing. It can reduce
your physical health by 20% and your mental health by at least 9%. It can also contribute to
an early death. At the Hearing Awareness Expo, Dr Hogan from the Australian National
University reports on the latest research on hearing and your health and highlights options
you can take to improve your health when you have hearing loss.”
