2. Commodity and the volume per time
- Vegetables (Cabbage, Squash, Tomato, Cucumber, Onion, Garlic, Chayote, Potato, Baguio Beans, Sari-Sari, etc.) - They received vegetables every day (4 sacks per day) from Bulua Market and Claveria.
3. Trace the flow of goods from the field to the consumer
- The eggplant, chayote baguio beans, etc are from Claveria, meanwhile the pechay and cabbage are from Bulua Market.
4. Note any losses (volume/time)
- The owner told us that there were only minor losses since they received vegetables every day.
5. When commodity gets spoiled, what do they do with it?
- If it has less injury, they chopped the vegetables and a portion of it is inevitably thrown into the garbage.
6. Problems in post-harvest life of commodity
- We cannot trace the flow since the vendor order vegetables from Bulua Market and Claveria.
7. How do they extend post-harvest life?
- The owner said that the other vendors put tawas in the vegetables and sodium in the sari-sari to make it look fresh. We asked if they put also tawas and sodium in their vegetables, and the owner said they dont.
