Apps are an essential piece of technology to enhance the Literacy knowledge of students. Using apps to plan and implement

instruction creates the technology setting for students. Allowing students to use technology to learn and create helps prepare them for

the now and the future. Randall S. Davies (2011) explains, developing the highest level of technology literacy involves using

technology to accomplish specific learning objectives. When students are using the apps to enhance their reading skills they become

better at reading. If were promoting technology literacy we must teach our students how to read on the internet, we must teach them

how to close read urls, how to search for information, evaluate it, and communicate it to others. Technology literacy promotes

continual growth. Being literate with educational technologies is not a one time achievement; it is a lifelong endeavor Davies (2011).
