Title: Romcarbon plays an important role in achieving the recycling targets in Romania

Cityhall of Floresti county launches a unique nation-wide

project to achieve complete recycling target.

Cluj, Romania, 24th of Februarie 2016. Floresti City Hall, in partnership with Quatro
Eco Salub, Green Group, Carrefour / Artima, Romcarbon, Ecopaper Zarnesti and
NextEco Recycling, today signed a voluntary agreement aimed at bringing together
local authorities, retailers and the recycling industry with the common goal of increasing
municipal waste recycling.

Through this project, we aim to achieve 50% of binding targets for recovery of
municipal waste generated, two years earlier than the agreed national term, meaning in
2018, not 2020. Thus, with the help of our partners, we will implement various waste
collection systems, depending on the specific different areas in Floresti, said the mayor
of Floreti, Mr. Hores Sulea.

Solutions offered for selective recyclable waste collection include specially designed
household bags, above-ground collection stations for apartment house areas, and, for
busy areas, underground recycling containers. Shopping centre solutions include
automatic waste collection systems, such as the one in Polus Center, which was
inaugurated in June 2015, and has already collected 120,000 kg of waste.

Together with the rest of the partners, Romcarbon supports the achieving of recycling
targets of Romania, by providing all of the aforementioned solutions.
