JOBSUMMARY:
Leadsworkcrewsinthepreparationandcarryingoutofhydrotesting,pipecleaningandblowingworksfor
gaspipelines,includingreviewofdrawing,prefab,pipeerectionandotheractivitiesrequiredtocompletethe
assignedscopeofworks.
PRIMARYDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensures that workers involved in the hydrotesting works are properly guided, is completed in
accordancewithprescribedinformationpriortopneumaticandhydrostaticpressuretestsbeingcarried
outforalltestpackages.
2. Preparetechnicalreport,listsofoutstandingitemsonapunchlistsubmitsitforconstructiontocarry
outtherequiredtest.
3. Monitorsthehydrotesting(hydrostaticandpneumatic)andhandlereportsonthecompletionoftests
andtosuperviselinecleaningafterhydrotest.
4. Responsible for the examination of systems to ensure completeness, punch lists preparation, and
readinessforhydrotestsactivities.
5. Interfaces with equipment, piping, instrumentation, electrical inspectors, civil/structural inspectors,
fieldengineerandotherfieldsuperintendentbeforeproceedingforhydrotestsofsystems.
6. InterfaceswiththeclientsQualityAssurancerepresentativeforhispresenceatthetest.
7. Reviews the documentation relevant to the systems and ensures the systems are constructed in
accordancewiththeprescribedinformationdrawings,specificationsandvendorinformation.
8. Coordinates with Project Manager and supervise the preparation of test activity to ensure all
deficienciesareidentifiedandpunchlistsareprepared
9. When the systems are to be tested, ensures the systems limits are identified, that necessary test
equipmentisinplaceandreviewscompletionofpunchlistitemstoensurehydrotestsmayproceed.
10. Reviewandapprovesubcontractorandsupplierdocumentationincludingqualityplans,inspectionand
test plans, manufacturing/welding procedures, inspections and test procedures and manufacturing
records.
11. Coordinatesandmonitorsthehydrotestsandreportsonthecompletionofhydrotests.
12. DemonstrateaprofessionalworkethicandactivelyparticipateasamemberoftheDisciplineWorkface
PlanningTeam.
13. InterfaceswiththeDisciplinePlanningTeamstounderstandtheconstructionschedule.
14. Assessestheimpactofinefficienciesonthesuccessfulcompletionofplannedactivitiesandadjustthe
planasrequired.

WORKEXPERIENCE: OTHERSKILLSANDCOMPETENCIES:
10yearssupervisorongaspipelinesand Musthaveprovenleadershipability,communicationsskills,
atleast3yearsofworkingexperiencein interpersonalskills,andsoundjudgment.
