Coordinating the production of good quality funding proposals and respond to calls for proposals, as
well as facilitating donor visits, donor meetings, round table discussions and evaluations as
necessary.
Providing leadership in the development and implementation of the COSV South Sudan Country
Programme strategy in line with the overall COSV Strategic Plan and the context in the
country/region.
Providing leadership for the dissemination of COSVs values, vision and mission at the country
level and with the progressive development of the South Sudan Country Programme and the
recruitment of staff. lead, direct and mentor the country programme and its staff in line with the
organizational strategy
Keeping abreast on socio-economic and political changes in the environment and undertaking timely
strategic review of the COSV South Sudan Programme Strategy ensuring continued relevance in the
rapidly changing environment.

expenditures
Strengthened COSV relations among the nutrition cluster partners in South Sudan and with the
government stakeholders.
Ensured better coordination and integration of the local authorities and community through
successful signing MoU with County Health Department, and the State Misitry of Health.
Key achievements:
Facilitated the development of the Communication Strategy Plan for Middle East and North Africa.
Achieved the 100% target number of recruiting fellows from Sudan, Southern Sudan, Japan, South Korea
and Latin America in the year 2013-2014.
Developed a solid partnership with various organizations and professional development networks and
groups nationally and globally.

promoting behavioral change in feeding, hygiene practices, and gender sensitivity in the community
and household level.
Assisted in compiling monthly reports, program documents, project proposals, budgets, and other
program documents for internal and external use.
Led the nutrition coordination efforts in East Sudan, which included coordinating more than 20 actors;
including NGOs, UN agencies, donor organizations, and the MOH through meetings and reports.
Key achievements:
Successfully mobilized funding from ECHO and USAID for a refugee emergency program and
implemented a refugee-intervention programme targeting refugees from East Sudan.
Developed and maintained partnership with the different religious and traditional leaders as well as the local
government to promote for better understanding and deliverable of the program activities and materials in
East Sudan.
