Country Director 2015 to Present
Coordination of Organizations for Voluntary Service (COSV) South Sudan-(Based in Nairobi currently)

Roles and responsibilities:


Successfully managing a 2 million USD country program, in the most conflicted areas in South
Sudan.
Representing COSV in South Sudan and be responsible for the management of host country
relations and COSV interests in dealing with government, international and local organizations.
Representing COSV in strategic meetings, conferences, forums and other public events and
contributing towards consolidating and raising the profile of COSV.
Developing networks and partnerships with national/regional/international institutions in South
Sudan and spearhead donor collaboration, fundraising and project development within the country.

Led the nutrition coordination efforts in East Sudan, which included coordinating more than 20 actors;
including NGOs, UN agencies, donor organizations, and the MOH through meetings and reports.

Successfully mobilized funding from ECHO and USAID for a refugee emergency program and
implemented a refugee-intervention programme targeting refugees from East Sudan.

Supported allocation of 26 million USD to all Health and Nutrition projects, monitoring international
donors contributions to ensure funding was used in accordance with the conditions and deadlines.

Carried out oral and written translations in English and Arabic for correspondence with the various

Managed school feeding programs for approximately 40 primary schools and oversaw the screening
of children with specific needs in conflict areas.

schools around Bahr el Gazal and the IDP camps.
Supervised and managed food distribution operations for approximately 1 million IDPs.
