REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRANCE EXAM

1. Official Transcript of Records (TOR)


If TOR is not yet available Honorable Dismissal or Certificate of Graduation
For Graduating Students Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation

2. Certification of Good Moral Character from the Dean and the Guidance Counselor
of last school attended; and a photocopy of each

3. Three (3) 2x2 photos (white background)

4. Application and testing fee of P1,300

ARELLANO UNIVERSITY:

Requirements for Admission

Must be a holder of a Bachelor's Degree in the Arts or Sciences.


Must have earned the following undergraduate units for the issuance of a Certificate of Eligibility to
enter Law Course (CEL):
o 18 units of English
o 18 units of Social Sciences
o 6 units of Mathematics
Must have passed the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and oral interview administered by the
Admission's Office
o Aptitude Examination
o Essay Examination
o Interview

Academic Credentials - The following are the Academic Credentials that must be submitted:

In case the applicant is a NEW STUDENT or has not previously enrolled in another law school, an
Original Official Transcript of Records with remarks "For Further Studies" or "Copy for Arellano
University School of Law", or;
In case the applicant is a TRANSFEREE or has previously enrolled in another law school:
o Original Official Transcript of Records from the law school in which the transferee was
previously enrolled.
o Certified True Copy of his/her College Transcript of Records
o Certificate of Eligibility to enter Law Course issued by the law school in which the
transferee was previously enrolled.
o Certificate of Transfer Credentials/Honorable Dismissal from the law school in which the
transferee was previously enrolled.

Non-Academic Credentials - The following are the Non-Academic Credentials that must be submitted by
the applicant:

Original Birth Certificate with one (1) photocopy.


Two (2) Original Certifications of Good Moral Character from the last school the applicant has
attended.
Two (2) 2"x2" photographs taken within the past 6 months
Certificate of Good Moral Character

FRESHMEN APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. * Original copy and 1 photocopy of Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation
if graduating in any tertiary/college/university this AY 2015-2016;
** Certified copy and 1 photocopy of College Transcript of Records (TOR)
if graduated from any tertiary/college/university prior to AY 2015-2016 and have not attended/enrolled in
any law school before.

2. 2 copies of recent identical 2x 2 colored pictures

3. Payment of non-refundable LSQT Fee of P450.00

IMPORTANT:
An applicant for LSQT must be a graduate of a bachelors degree and must have earned eighteen (18)
units of English, six (6) units of Mathematics and eighteen (18) units of Social Sciences subjects. (DECS
Order No. 46, Series of 1996)
FRESHMEN APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Step 1: Complete the Application Form
Download and complete the Law School Qualifying Test (LSQT) Application Form (in FEU website, click
Graduate Studies Admission Form to download), and the Law Applicant Personal Information Form (in
Institute of Law page, click Law Applicant Personal Information Form to download).

Forms are also available at the Office of the Law Dean, 6th floor, Rm. 601, Monday to Friday, 1:00-7:00
PM

Step 2: Submit forms and all requirements


Visit the Far Eastern University Makati Campus to submit your completed application forms and
requirements to Admissions and Financial Assistance Office, Ground Floor, FEU Makati Campus, Sen.
Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City. Monday Friday, 8:00-5:00 PM.
A representative may do this step for you. Prepare the non-refundable testing fee of P450.00. Cashier is
open from Monday to Friday, 8:00-5:00 PM
Upon submission of complete application forms and requirements for LSQT and payment of the testing
fee, you will be given the LSQT Test Permit.
Step 3: Take the FEU Law School Qualifying Test
Take the FEU Law School Qualifying Test on the specified date. Take note of the test guidelines. LSQT
Results are not posted online. List of successful examinees is posted at the Law School Bulletin Board.
