The goal of the IT organisation in Shell is pretty robust. We enable business strategies across the
whole enterprise, we link very closely with the technology strategies, and then the businesses count
on us to exploit emerging and new technologies day after day.

Why join IT at Shell?

Because Shell is such a wide, large enterprise we also have an incredibly large footprint. So were in
lots of geographies, in lots of different technologies, in lots of different businesses. We work from
exploration to production, to manufacturing, to supply, to trading, into our consumer businesses in
retail. So on a day to day basis we need to think and interact from extreme upstream all the way to
our retail customers.

The success, for me, comes from knowing that Ive delivered a solution or Ive delivered a strategy
or I deliver day to day to the business.
