1. OBJECTIVE
Topographical Survey procedures were made to give a detailed description of the process of
topographic survey; topographical maps are available and ensure the process is effective and
efficient in accordance with the prevailing regulations and company requirements.

2. SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work of this procedure is limited to certain items as follow:
2.1. This procedure describes the implementation of topographycal survei process

3. RESPONSIBILITY
3.1. DIRECTOR OPERATIONS
3.1.1. Director Operasi is responsible for:
3.1.1.1. Provide and assure mining permit (exploration and production permit) has been
meet and updated
3.1.1.2. Assure of land status has completed (Land Use)

3.2. General Manager Mine Operation (KTT)

3.2.1. General Manager Mine Operation (KTT) is responsible for:
3.2.1.1. Assure all regulation of maning activity has been met.
3.2.1.2. Assure all survey tool has completed and have calibrated.
3.2.1.3. Assure all document related topographical survey is available and complete in
accordance with prevailing regulations
3.2.1.4. Review topographical survey plan based on schedules, land tenure status, short-
term plans, and boundaries / area.
3.2.1.5. Monitor of topographic survey activities in accordance with a procedure.

3.3. Geologist and Geodetic

3.3.1. Geologis dan Engineer is responsible for:
3.3.1.1. Lead the implementation of topograpical survey.
3.3.1.2. Starting of topographical survey activity in accordance with schedule.
3.3.1.3. Provide personnel and topographic survey tools.
3.3.1.4. Coordinate with General Affair (Public Relation) related to schedule survey
activity and area (permit).
3.3.1.5. Review of topographical survey plan in accordance with based on the sequence
of short-term and boundary area.
3.3.1.6. Analyze survey objectives and specifications in order to prepare survey proposals
or to direct others in survey proposal preparation
3.3.1.7. Direct aerial surveys of specified geographical areas.
3.3.1.8. Determine specifications for photographic or geophysical measurement
equipment to be used for aerial photography, as well as altitudes from which to
photograph or to measure geophysical characteristic
3.3.1.9. Ensure the topographic survey tools that will be used has been calibrated to
produce accurate data.
3.3.1.10. Search survey records, and land titles in order to obtain information about
property boundaries in areas to be surveyed.

3.3.1.11. Conduct research in surveying and mapping methods, using knowledge of

techniques of photogrammetric map compilation and electronic data processing.
Develop criteria for survey methods and procedures.
3.3.1.12. Train assistants and helpers, and direct their work in such activities as
performing surveys or drafting maps.
3.3.1.13. Supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and
documents related to surveys.
3.3.1.14. Adjust surveying instruments in order to maintain their accuracy.
3.3.1.15. Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in
survey areas, using theodolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based GPS.
3.3.1.16. Establish fixed points to be used in making maps, using geodetic and
engineering instruments.
3.3.1.17. Processing data from filed into Surpac, Minescape and other program to
get topography data.
3.3.1.18. Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other
characteristics of terrain.
3.3.1.19. Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data in order to
determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic, terrain and
topographic features.
3.3.1.20. Check the topography map result with topography data in geological
survey (if any).
3.3.1.21. Check the topography map result with actual condition at the field.
3.3.1.22. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and
calculations conducted at survey sites.
3.3.1.23. Review problem that accure and develop corrective action.
3.3.1.24. Follow up and distribute report on finished topographical survey to related
department.

3.4. GEODETIC SURVEYOR

3.4.1. Surveyor is responsible for:
3.4.1.1. Developing Survey plan base on schedule
3.4.1.2. Conducting the topographic surveys in accordance with the procedures and the
design has been determined.
3.4.1.3. Creating the topography survey report.

3.5. Director of Finance (DF)

3.5.1. Director of Finance is responsible for providing of fund for topographical survey.

3.6. General Affair/Public Relation

3.6.1. Provide and assure of permit
3.6.2. Coordination with Geodetic Enginer in survey activity related permit and schedule
