a. Objective/s in taking Taiwan Scholarship.

Being admitted to this scholarship program would be an advantage in developing my
understanding towards the culture and traditions of our fellow Asian country. Thus
fostering stronger ties within our international community. It is not only beneficial on my
part for our organization, the Philippine Coast Guard, will be greatly benefited by this
opportunity as well. Learning the wonderful and rich language of Taiwan would be a
bridge to our communication hurdles with our neighboring country.

b. Possible Impact of taking a Taiwan Scholarship into your career path.

This would be of great help for strengthening my career as it would propel me in attaining
future graduate studies in Taiwan. It not only be advantageous on our organization but
for the Philippine Government and the whole nation as well.

c. Possible contribution/s to the enhancement of the bilateral relations between

Taiwan and the Philippines
With the help of this scholarship program, the flow of communication of both governments
would be strengthen and scholars of this program would help in the spread of the rich
language of Taiwan. Thus, many Filipinos would understand the language.
