BUSINESS ETHICS ASSIGNMENT

Relevancy of the rights and justice theory

Fairness in the market: It ensures that the producers get the treatment that they deserve for
example fair taxation administered to them by the government, consumers also get the goods and
service delivery that they deserve= having paid for them.

Servicing peoples human rights: It ensures that they get fair treatment in hospitals and this
also ensures that these hospitals produce the right medicine as approved by ministry of Health.

Obstructing justice: This theory ensures that people get what they deserve for obstructing
justice or going against the law in the business environment by at least stating out what is just
and just in the business environment.

Justice also forces people to act more ethical: since they can easily be charged for their actions
for example in a business where ones boss would ask an employee to do something that is
unethical he/she may not do so because there is today to protect peoples human rights.

Relevancy of the Virtues theory

Virtues theory of ethics matters in the following ways;
Virtues are important in the management of finances: i.e if the finance manger is not virtues
or isnt honesty then the finances of the business may not be handled properly which can lead to
loses and hence the downfall of the business.

Virtues also focus on .peoples characters such honesty: trust worthiness hence when being
upheld they help to guard business property as well ensuring quality product in the market.

Virtues and accounting: virtues cannot be separated from accounting because accounts need
to trusted and truthful people in order to reduce cases of fraud and theft that could hinder the
business growth and expansion.

Virtues enhance management: virtues such as care, concerned, competence and ambition help
managers to ensure that all workers are catered for and confortable and at the same time making
sure that organizational goals are being meant.
