SPORTS UPDATE
ALL WEEK o This week saw the start of the pre-intramural matches for football. The
teams made a fantastic start to the season with Law A drawing 1-1 with
geography and Law B winning 5-1 against computer science.
o Cricket intramural began this week and Law A chased down the Medic
B team score of 47 with 1 wicket and an over spare, thanks mainly to
Sam Pounds who starred with bat and ball.
o Netball intramural will start this Sunday. The teams are now coming
together nicely after a few weeks of training sessions.
o Still interested in law sports? Email Abi, our Sports Secretary, at aec20

JOIN OUR LAW CRICKET TEAM!
ALL WEEK
o Law cricket is now up and running and there is currently one team
entered into the 6-a-side indoor intramural competition. It would be
great to get more teams entered and competing for the Law Society.
o These matches are held on a Sunday between 5-7pm in the Danielle
Brown sports hall on campus. Matches last roughly 40 minutes.
o Experience is preferable but not a necessity.
o The rules of intramural have changed this year so unless you have at
least a silver gym membership, you will have to pay 4 per week to
play.
o For anyone interested, please contact Josh McLean (jlm45) for details
on how to sign up.
