Boston Celtics Win Game 1 Behind Isaiah Thomas

Boston took a 1-0 lead against the Washington Wizard as a toothless Isaiah Thomas
dominated behind his 33 points to go along with his 9 assists and 5 three pointers and Jae Crowder
chip in 24 points as the Celtics win the game 123-111.

The Wizards caught the Celtics sleeping during the first quarter as they took a 16-0 run. But
after the Wizards knock I.T. tooth halfway through the first quarter, the game began to change as
the Celtics took control of the game. Behind its stellar defense the Celtics lockdown the Wizard
during the third quarter. At the end of the third quarter the Celtics had a 15 point lead. It didnt help
that the Wizards lose Markieff Morris to a sprain ankle during the third quarter as he landed
awkwardly to Al Hordfords feet.

Entering the fourth quarter with a score of 95-80 the Wizards would try to rally back behind
John Wall and Bradley Beal. The Wizard would eventually cut the lead into 3 behind Bojan
Bogdanovic three pointers making the score 98-101 with 6:39 minutes remaining in the fourth
quarter. But the Celtics would run away with their lead as Avery Bradley seal the game with his 3
pointer of his own with 2:06 minutes remaining in the fourth making the score 119-105.
