Demonstrates body movements by the steady beats while singing rhythm or action
Knowledge: songs.

Maintains a steady beat when chanting, walking, tapping, clapping and playing
Skills: musical instruments.

Perform simple ostinato patterns in groupings of 25, 35 and 45 through body


Attitude: movements and play musical.

Values: Makadiyos: Appreciate and take care of the talent given by our Almighty.

4.1 Introductory Activity Let the pupils sing the action song When Youre Happy and You Know.

4.2 Activity/Strategy What can you say about the song?

4.3 Analysis What are the actions done in the song?

4.4 Abstraction/ What is a rhythmic pattern?


Generalization (Rythmic pattern refers to the combination of long and short sounds)

4.5 Application Group the class by 5s. Have them create simple ostinato patterns.

4.6 Assessment Let the pupils answer on Learners Material in page 30.

4.7 Assignment Crate a simple ostinato pattern through body movement and practice it at home.

4.8 Concluding Activity The teacher ends with a quote that goes: Music gives soul to the universe, wings
to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.

4.1 Introductory Activity Ask the children to look at the picture they draw in the in the previous lesson.
Let them examine the picture: the sizes of objects, the distance, etc.
Then, ask:

4.2 Activity/Strategy Show an example of a picture of objects, that are near or far from the viewer.

4.3 Analysis What have you observed about the sizes of objects?
What can you say if the picture is big in the drawing?
What can you say if the picture is small in the drawing?

4.4 Abstraction/ What is illusion of space?


Generalization (Illusion of space is a technique or process used by an artist to show distance and
depth.)
How can you show illusion of space in your artwork?
(In a drawing, the smaller the object, the farther its distance from the view.)

4.5 Application Let the pupil draw that shows illusion of space.

4.6 Assessment Answer your activity book on page 128.

4.7 Assignment Cut some pictures on the magazine that shows illusion of space.
