ALLAH (swt) & The Day of Judgment

ALLAH (swt)

&

THE DAY of JUDGEMENT

(A set of verses)

Md. Elius Pathan (Mishor)

1
ALLAH (swt) & The Day of Judgment

FORWARD
All Might, Glories and Highness are vested in the Supreme Being. He possesses the Supreme
Attributes which man, angel, and genie cannot imagine. So no one can claim to be Almighty and none
can demand any similarity or affinity with Him. He is absolutely a treasure for all the soul.
The Human soul is an order of the Almighty. The soul is not a synonym of the Supreme Being.
Human body is made of perishable elements but the soul is eternal. Man, angel and genie are the
supreme creation of the Almighty of which man is superior to all.
The Almighty is infinite and eternal. But man, angel and genie are mortal. After the expiry of this
mortal life man will be provided with an eternal abode. For this reason man needs a Divine
Constitution in order to regularize his life with a view to having eternal peace and tranquillity. This
constitution should have its basis on revelation and cannot be amended by man, genie or even by the
angel who conveyed the revelation.
The holy Qur’an is a set of the principles of better and pure life which is sent direcly from ALLAH
(swt) and also a direction. Violation of this principle is a direct treason with the Almighty, for which
none will be excused. We should remember that this world is an open market for the Devil and the evil
forces, with ample opportunity to exploit their cherished desire. So we should beware of the intimacy
of the Evil, because at the judgment day ALLAH (swt) will take writ us and at that day he will not
grant any excuse from us about Saitan (evil).
Man needs to enlighten his life. Owing to this enlightenment youth shines even in crabbed age and
soul carries this light to the world hereafter. In daily life (wake up to sleep) we, the human being doing
much wrong thing (gunnah) and we forget that ALLAH (swt) is not blind. We try to conceal our sin but
ALLAH (swt) is aware of all that we conceal as well as of all that we bring into the open. And whether
we conceal what is in our hearts or bring it into the open, ALLAH (swt) knows it and He knows all that
is in the heavens and all that is on earth. ALLAH (swt) said:

Oh, verily, they [who are turned on denying the truth of this divine writ] are enshrouding their
hearts in order to hide from Him. Oh, verily, [even] when they cover themselves with their garments [in
order not to see or hear], He knows all that they keep secret as well as all that they bring into the open
- for, behold, He has full knowledge of what is in the hearts (of men). [Surah-Hud: Verse-5]
So we should believe him and also believe in the Day of Judgment when he will judge all the things
we have done and also we should fear of ALLAH (stw). For come out from the sin we must follow the
instruction of Al-Qur’an and Sunnah, because Islam is the only way to come out from the sin and also a
way of better life. Islam is only the religion which can describe the system of life and the purity. Thouh
Qur’an is the great book in the world; we should believe that Islam is only the religion in the world. In
the holy Qur’an Allah (swt) said:

Verily, the religion of Allah is Islam.

(Chapter 03, Verse-19)

This day I have perfected for you, your religion, and have completed my favor on you, and chosen for
you Islam to be The religion.
(Chapter 05, Verse-03)

He it is Who sent His apostle with guidance and the religion of Truth, that He may prevail it over all
other religions, though the polytheists may detest it.
(Chapter 09, Verse- 33)
2
ALLAH (swt) & The Day of Judgment

Therefore, you shall devote yourself completely to this perfect religion (Islam), before a day comes
which is made inevitable by God. On that day, they will be shocked.
(Chapter 30, Verse- 43)

He it is Who sent His apostle with the guidance and the true religion that He may make it prevail over
all religions, and God is enough for a witness.
(Chapter 48, Verse- 28)

(Allah it is) Who created the seven heavens layer above layer; you will not see any defect or
incongruity in the creation of Allah. You may look again! Do you see any gap? Then repeat your look
again and, your gaze shall return to you amazed, being wearied.
(Chapter 67, Verses: 03-04)

A good advice, to help you maintain your tauba (repentance) definitely, is to spend time with good
people. This will help you act properly, according to ethics that pleases God, as well as maintaining His
obedience. Any Muslim should choose good Muslim friends and good people to socialize with. So try
to focus on going to the masjid (mosque), reading Qur'an every day, attending Islamic classes and be
away from any company that does not remind you of Allah. Increase your optional salat (prayer),
siyam (fasting) and paying sadaqah (charity) as much as you can.

This book is a set of verses of Al-Qur’an about Allah (swt), Faith on him, Fear of him, Believe on him,
creation of Man and also the day of judgement.

It is disgraceful to note that man is dying for this consumable world, and is doing nothing for his
everlasting abode. So apply your ethics because you are a judge of your own welfare. And make
yourself as a believer of “ALLAH (swt) and The Day of Judgment”

May, the Supreme Being bestow upon us a prosperous life covering all dimensions of human life.

Amen.

ALLAH (swt) & The Day of Judgment

Allah (swt): (serve Him)

Allah is the standard Arabic word for God. It’s uses by Muslims as a reference to God, it is used by
Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, in reference to "God". The term
was also used by pagan Meccans as a reference to the creator-god, possibly the supreme deity in pre-
Islamic Arabia.
The concepts associated with the term Allah (as a deity) differ among the traditions. In pre-Islamic
Arabia amongst pagan Arabs, Allah was not the sole divinity, having associates and companions, sons
and daughters, a concept strongly opposed by Islam. In Islam, the name Allah is the supreme and all-
comprehensive divine name. All other divine names are believed to refer back to Allah. Allah is
unique, the only Deity, creator of the universe and omnipotent. Arab Christians today use terms such
as Allāh al-Ab ("God the Father") to distinguish their usage from Muslim usage. There are both
similarities and differences between the concepts of God as portrayed in the Qur'an and the Hebrew
Bible.
In Arabic language, the word "ALLAH", as mentioned in the article, refers to God and is the proper
name of God almighty. It is mentioned in the article that it is derived from the article "al" (the) and
"illah" (god) giving the meaning of "the God". Such derivation is doubtful and probably non-existant.
This is supported by the absence of feminine forms and pleural forms. The word "allat" is not the
feminine form but was a name of a statue worshiped by pre-Islam Arabs. Muslims will refer to God as
"ALLAH". He is the one and the only God, and to them any mentioning of God, holiness, lord or any
other word suggesting or meaning God is by default referring to "ALLAH". We should serve him what
he desire.

Allah (swt): (no god but He)

La ilaha ila Allah (Arabic) Literally: No god but The Allah (swt). It is the first part of the Islamic faith
known as the Kalimah or Shahadah. The Shahada is the Muslim declaration of belief in the oneness of
God and acceptance of Muhammad (s) as his prophet. The declaration reads: Lā ilaha illa al-Lāh,
Muhammadun rasūlu l-Lāh “There is no god but Allah, Muhammad (saw) is the Messenger of God". This
declaration is called the Kalima, which exactly means "words." Recitation of the Shahadah is the most
important of the Five Pillars of Islam for Muslims and is performed daily.

FEAR of ALLAH (swt)

Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and offspring; Heaped-up hoards of
gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land.
Such are the possessions of this world's life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (To return
to). Attractive unto man is the enjoyment of worldly desires from women, and children, and heaped up
treasures of gold and silver, and horses of high mark, and cattle, and lands. All this may be enjoyed in
the life of this world – but the most beauteous of all goals is with Allah (swt). So fear Allah (swt).

Unseen: (beliefe in)

Muslims believe in One, Unique, Incomparable Allah (swt); in the Angels created by Him; in the
prophets through whom His revelations were brought to mankind; in the Day of Judgement and
individual accountability for actions; in Allah's (swt) complete authority over human destiny and in life
after death. Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham,
Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and
Jesus, peace be upon them. But Allah's (swt) final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal
message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad
through Gabriel.
[in time and space Muttaqeen are those people] who accept/believe in the presence/existence [of
Creator- Allah, and what is stated in the Book] without being in their sight; and they maintain/
manage/organize/stand for the performance of As-Salat, and out of the worldly resources, which We
have given them as sustenance, they spend [only for seeking approval and attention of Allah. And [in
the present time and space] Muttaqeen are those, who accept/believe in that [Grand Quran] which has
since been sent to you [the Messenger], and they also accept/believe what was sent [by Allah] in the
times before you [which you certified/sanctified with/in Quran]. And they have firm belief/conviction
in the Last Day [and to be held accountable. (2:3-4)
And amongst people, there are those who say, claiming "We have accepted the belief in Allah and the
Last Day". And the fact is that they are certainly not the believers. [By false declarations in believer's
society they perceive as if] They deceive Allah and those people who have accepted [wholeheartedly
the Messenger and Grand Quran]; and in fact they deceive none [by false declaration of belief] except
their own selves and they do not perceive this fact. There is a disease in their hearts
[personality/psychological disorder] and Allah has caused/let [by leaving them as
condemned/discarded] their disease increase. And [waits] for them is grievous punishment because
they persistently contradict publicly [the Quran]. (2:8-10)

ALLAH (swt) & The Day of Judgment

Faith
Faith in Islam is called Iman. It is a complete submission to the will of Allah which includes belief,
profession, and the body's performance of deeds consistent with the commission as vicegerent on
Earth, all according to Allah's will.
Iman has two aspects
Recognizing and affirming that there is one Creator of the universe and only to this Creator is
worship due. According to Islamic thought, this comes naturally because faith is an instinct of the
human soul. This instinct is then trained via parents or guardians into specific religious or spiritual
paths. Likewise, the instinct may not be guided at all.
Willingness and commitment to submitting that Allah (swt) is exists. The Qur'an is the transcription
of Allah's (swt) prescriptions through Prophet Muhammad (saw) and is believed to have updated and
completed previous revelations Allah sent through earlier prophets.
In the Qur'an, Allah, states: Surely, Those who believe (in that which is revealed unto thee,
Muhammad), and those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabaeans - whoever believeth in Allah and
the Last Day and doeth right - surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall no fear come upon
them neither shall they suffer. (2:62)
Faith is the confident belief or trust in the truth of or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing. It is
the belief and the agreement of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, based on his or her
authority and truthfulness. Without understanding, there cannot be true faith. Understanding is built
on the foundation of the community of believers: the understanding of the scriptures and traditions of
the community of believers.

The Day of Judgment

Judgment day is the end of the earth and the universe as we know it. Preceding judgment day there are the
Great Signs of The Day of Judgment. The first sign is the rise of the Sun from the west for one day accompanied
by the rise of the Earth Beast. The coming of the Imam Mahdi (the divinely guided one), which precedes the
second coming of Isa (as), triggers the redemption of Islam and the defeat of its enemies. Isa (as) and the Imam
Mahdi work together to fight evil in the world, to cement justice on Earth, and will unite the Muslims and true
Christians under true Islam. Imam Mahdi comes from Mecca and rules from Damascus, Syria. Isa (as) will defeat
Dajjal (literally: fraudster; the fake messiah) and then shall live on Earth for many years. According to some
traditions Isa (as) will marry and have a family, and then die.
In the text, Signs of Qiyamah, “Muhammad Ali Ibn Zubair Ali” states that after the arrival of Imam Mahdi,
"the ground will cave in, fog or smoke will cover the skies for forty days. A night three nights long will follow the
fog. After the night of three nights, the sun will rise in the west. The beast of the earth shall come out. The beast
will talk to people and mark the faces of people. A breeze from the south shall cause all the believers to die. The
Qur'an will be lifted from the hearts of the people."
During judgment, a person's own "book of deeds" will be given to the person, and will be appraised of every
deed and every word one spoke (Qur'an 54:52-53). If given in the right, that Person will go to Jannah
(paradise/heaven). If he gets it in his left, he's going to Jahannam (Hell). Actions during childhood are not
judged. Even minor and trivial deeds are included in the account. When the hour is at hand, some will deny that
the Last Judgment is taking place and will be warned that the Judgment precedes the "Day of Pining" (suffering)
(Qur'an 30:55-57, 19.39). If one denies a deed he or she committed, or refuses to acknowledge it, his or her body
parts will testify against them.
The Qur'an states that some sins can condemn someone to hell. These include lying, dishonesty, corruption,
ignoring Allah (swt), denying the rebirth, refusing to feed the poor, indulging in wealth and affectation, and
oppressing or economically exploiting others. Throughout judgment, however, the underlying principle is that of
a complete and perfect justice administered by Allah (s). The accounts of judgment are also complete with the
emphasis that Allah is merciful and forgiving, and that mercy and forgiveness will be granted on that day insofar
as it is merited.

Ways to obtain the love of Allah (swt)

The great scholar Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah is often referred to as the 'Imam of the Hearts.' Reading and
reflecting on his treatise on the ways that bring about the love of Allah, it isn't hard to see why...

* Recitation of the Qur'an with reflection and understanding of its meanings and what is intended by it, as one
reflects over a book which he has memorized and which he expounds so that he may understand what its author
intends from him.

* Getting closer to Allah with supererogatory acts of worship, after the obligatory ones, for they will take him to
another level of love that comes after love.

* Constant remembrance in every circumstance by the tongue, the heart, the actions and (one's) condition, so a
person's share of love is in accordance with his share of this remembrance.

* Preferring His love over your own when desires overcome you and climbing to reach His love, even if the ascent
is difficult.

* The heart's comprehension of His Names and Attributes, witnessing them and having knowledge of them, to
immerse himself in the garden of this knowledge and its fundamental pillars. Whoever knows Allah by His
Names, Attributes and Actions, will, no doubt, love Him.

* Witnessing His generosity, His benevolence, His favors and blessings, both hidden and open, for these things all
call to His love.

* And this is the most amazing of all: the heart's total surrender to and humility in front of Allah, the Most High,
and there are no other words and considerations which give expression to this meaning.

* Being alone in the time of the Descent of Allah (last third of the night) for having private conversations with
Him, reciting His Words, investigating the heart, displaying the manners of servitude whilst in front of Him and
then to seal all of that by seeking forgiveness and repentance.

* Sitting with the truthful lovers (of Allah) and gathering the good fruits (emanating) from their speech, just as
one picks out the best of fruits, and that you do not speak except when the benefit of the speech prevails and
when you know that there is a betterment for you and benefit for others in it.

* Keeping distant from everything that comes between the heart and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.

ALLAH (swt) & The Day of Judgment

Conclusion:

We should remember that we are the progeny of the same couple and all the Prophets were sent for the
welfare of the entire human race. We also need to expose this goodhearted keenness and eagerness. We must give
up all ideologies relating to the segregation of mankind for our common welfare and common destination.
Remember it is a human approach and we are human beings. We need human life and should avoid envy in
all possible manners, because envy is the root of segregation and it is the crown of egotism. Egotism is the only
quality of the Devil, who has no future in life. But man is neither disobedient to the Almighty nor is he indifferent
to his future. Man possesses direct link with the Supreme Being, and it is the highest honour above all races and
over entire creation. For this reason men were blessed with great religion and the genies were ordained to follow
men. The angels were assigned to help man in every area of this great task. For this reason the entire creation was
made subservient to us.
Paradise is for those who worshipped God alone, believed and followed their prophet. For evildoers there will be
no helpers.

Hell will be the final dwelling place of those who denied God, worshipped other beings besides God, rejected the
call of the prophets, and lead sinful, unrepentant lives.

Lo! We have given thee Abundance; So pray unto thy Lord, and sacrifice. Lo! it is thy insulter
(and not thou) who is without posterity.(108:1-3)
