Job Purpose To support the Director in researching and writing a paper on the
evolution of resilience and the management of risk within corporate
organisations. The project will examine the extent to which the role of
corporate security has evolved, the relevance of the concept of
organisational resilience, how organisations address risk today, and how
they structure their approach to risk management. The paper will
conclude by proposing target operating models for the effective
management of risk as a means of achieving organisational resilience.

Tasks and Working as part of a small research team, the successful
Responsibilities candidate will provide support in all areas of the project; from
setting initial research parameters, compiling surveys, and
identifying and contacting appropriate respondents, to collating
data, and report writing.

Knowledge and IT literate - expertise in MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint 2010.


Experience Experience of supporting research projects
Experience in compiling research surveys and collecting and
collating data from corporate stakeholders
Excellent proven organisation and administration skills
Attention to detail, an ability to prioritise, and the ability to work
independently

Qualifications Educated to MA/MSc level, preferably in a risk-related discipline


and Specialist Excellent word processing and general computing skills
Skills Excellent verbal and written English

Competencies Excellent interpersonal skills
