McDonald's is an American hamburger and fast food restaurant chain. It was founded as a
restaurant by the brothers McDonalds, Richard and Maurice McDonald, in California. In
1948 they organizated their bussiness as a hamburger stand. Later in 1953, Arizona, the
first McDonald's franchise is opened. In 1955 Ray Kroc joined the company as a franchise
agent and subsequently purchased the chain from the McDonald brothers.
Today McDonalds is the world's largest restaurant chain, serving approximately 68 million
customers daily in 120 countries across the world.
McDonald's primarily sells hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken products, french fries,
breakfast items, soft drinks, milkshakes, wraps, and desserts. Today the company has
expanded its menu to include salads, fish, wraps, smoothies, and fruit. They used to a
small bread for their hamburger, but with the time the hamburger bread is more bigger
and delicious
A McDonald's restaurant is operated by either a franchisee, an affiliate. McDonald's is the
world's second largest private employer
