Hozon Cheesesteak

Inspired by the Philly classic, reinvented


with a Momofuku twist. We griddle thinly
shaved Angus beef, combine it with
caramelized and grilled onions, and blend
the duo with an umami-rich chickpea
cheese sauce flavored with Hozon, a
fermented product similar to miso, that
packs an extra punch. Served up on a fresh
sesame roll from NYCs Parisi Bakery, this
ones something to write your friends in
Philly about.
Caponata Turkey Melt
Hot Roasted Turkey, Caponata (Charred and Sauteed Eggplant, Poblano Peppers, Pepperoncinis),
Melted Muenster, Ginger Scallion Mayo, Parisi Bakery Handmade Sesame Round Roll

Thick slices of hot turkey (seasoned and


roasted in-house) piled high with caponata
(charred and sauteed Italian vegetables) and
melted Muenster cheese, on a sesame round
roll from Parisi Bakery, slathered with ginger
scallion mayo. Inspired by NY Noodle Towns
reliable late night eats, we created this year-
round turkey go-to, to go.

When setting out to craft our chicken salad


recipe, we had one goal in mind. Make a
chicken salad sandwich that doesnt make
people think, meh, chicken salad. Howd we
do it? Roasted, Amish chicken (both white and
dark meat), tossed lightly in a slightly-spicy mix
of mayo, pickled ginger, kaffir lime, and Thai
bird chilies. We layer the chicken on a base of
sweet Hoisin sauce, and top with fresh thai basil
and slivered cucumber, on Sullivan St. Bakery's
hand-rolled multigrain bread. Time to meet a
chicken salad sandwich that takes you off the
beaten path.

After a full year serving our beloved Hozon


Cheesesteak, we challenged ourselves to
recreate the sandwich for our non-meat
loving friends - while still staying true to the
originals roots. The result? An umami-rich,
powerful mix of meaty king oyster and
braised shiitake mushrooms, enhanced by
our savory Hozon cheese sauce and a few
hot cherry peppers to kick up the heat a
notch.

Enough with the hummus and sprouts. We


firmly believe a veggie sandwich can be so
much more, so we let ourselves go a little
wild to create the vegetarian sandwich wed
want to order. Enter: The Wild Thing. Its
avocado layered with braised king oyster
mushrooms, goat cheese, marinated kale,
and beet-marinated pickled bean sprouts. If
the colors alone arent enough to grab you,
then believe us when we say: this is a new
kind of all-veggie sandwich.
Spicy Meatball
Chiang Mai-Style Spicy Pork Meatballs, Thai Tomato Sauce (Crushed Tomato, Coconut Milk,

A hearty meatball sandwich made with


spicy Thai-seasoned pork sausage,
melted Jarlsberg cheese, and a spin on a
classic red sauce made with crushed
tomatoes, coconut milk, galangal, ginger,
and curry paste. Sometimes you need a
sandwich to fuel your day, and sometimes
you need one thatll tame your hangover,
give you a bear hug, and tell you
everythings going to be just fine. This is
one of those.

Iterations of a vegetarian banh mi have


been on the Ando menu since the early
days. Were fanatics for the refreshing
yet still hearty mix of vegetables in a
banh mi; ours features roasted
cauliflower, shiitakes, and pickled
papaya and daikon for a sweet, slightly
acidic tang. Topped off with crisp
cucumber, cilantro, and jalapeo and
slathered with our homemade spicy
Korean mayo, this banh mi is banh-kers.

Well, we didnt either - until we created this
beauty. Hearty enough to quiet your hunger,
light enough to keep you from needing to get
horizontal immediately after eating it, this
sandwich just might become part of your squad.
Heritage Farms roasted Berkshire pork gets
topped with peppery pickles, Muenster cheese,
marinated kale, and pickled bean sprouts.
Finish it off with a spicy Korean dijonaise made

If you think the Big Gs just a salad, think
again. This bowl can duel with the best of
them - a hearty combo of barley and quinoa,
grilled Amish chicken, Satur Farms arugula,
chopped daikon and cucumber, and pickled
red onion. It dresses up with one of the very
first Ando creations, chili vinaigrette - a
spicy, sweet dressing made with chilies.
Dont be surprised if the Big G becomes part
of your weekly routine - once you go greens

We love a good Caesar salad, and we know


you dont need to mess with the classics.
However, weve added a subtle twist that will
make this Casear yours for the ages. We
stay true to tradition with chopped romaine
hearts, grilled Amish chicken, and shredded
Parmesan cheese; we shake things up with
an extra savory miso-Caesar dressing and
sesame toasted croutons. Change it up (just
a little) - you wont be disappointed.

Inspired by the side salad youd find at


your local Japanese haunt, kicked up a

radishes, carrots, and daikon for extra
crunch, topped with a homemade ginger-
carrot dressing. Ninja power in a bowl.
