Description Absolutely vertical installation is essential.

The purpose of an air admittance valve is to provide
a method of allowing air to enter the plumbing drainage
system to prevent siphonage of plumbing fixture traps.
It is a one-way valve designed to allow air to enter the
drainage system when negative pressures develop in
the piping system. The device closes by gravity and seals
the vent terminal at zero differential pressure (no flow
conditions) and under positive internal pressures.
Ashirvad along with Sanit (Germany), introduces two
variants of Ventilair Air Admittance Valves into the
Indian markets.
Slanting or horizontal Ventilair Air Admittance Valves
will not function.
Accessibility must be ensured, for maintenance purposes.
In case of installation in concealed location, sufficient
air supply must be available.
If fitted to a horizontal waste pipe, the Ventilair Air
Admittance Valve must be installed at least one pipe
thickness vertically above the level of the pipe.

Fixation Methodology
Ashirvad systems can each be fitted to pipes of three 11
different sizes:

DN 30, DN 40 & DN 50 and DN 70, DN 90 & DN 100.

The nominal connection diameters have been selected
to make it possible to fit the valve to a pipe of diameter 6
DN 90 and DN 40 by inserting it into a sleeve. If the valve
is to be inserted into a pipe without a sleeve, of nominal 8
dia DN 100 and DN 50, the rubber connector has to be
used. For nominal diameters DN70 and DN30, the rubber
