Evaluation Criteria

Students will be scored on a 1-4 scale, one being developing and four being exceptional.
Students will be scored on their ability to comprehend the learning focus (i.e. characterization),
their ability to analyze a character and the text, their ability to use academic language to further
enhance their writing, and their ability to use textual evidence to support their claims.
