o Check Omni Vista 8770 server operating system:
If OS is Windows 7, it must be SP1 and KB2999226 hotfix must be install. If OS is Windows 8.1, KB2919442 and KB2919355 hotfix must be install. If OS is Windows 2012 R2, KB2919442 and KB2919355 hotfix must be install.
o Check Omni Vista 8770 release version:
If version installed is 2.6.x (version = 7 in the license), direct upgrade is available. If version installed before2.6.x (version < 7 in the license), recommended to do a new installation.
o Server/Desktop PC ram must be 6 GB (as recommended on the technical
document).
II. UPGRADING TO R3.1
o To upgrade the OmniVista 8770 server, use the following procedure:
On a Windows 7 or Windows 8 server, right click the ServerSetup.exe and select Run as Administrator. The installation program verifies that the binary is installed. A confirmation message opens. Note: The current installation parameters remain unchanged during upgrade. Select Yes, The Licence Agreement dialog box opens. Click Next to launch the upgrade. A dialog box indicates the installation in progress via a status bar
