Sir, Madam,
Graduated of a Masters Degree in Urban Planning, Housing and International Cooperation,
Im looking for a project manager work, therefore I would like to submit my application for the job
offer as Regional Operations Support Officer. My studies and my professional experience confirmed
my interest in international cooperation and local development.
My numerous internships and my school curriculum have allowed me to acquire essential
tools in order to lead a major project. Between urban planning and social thematic, I have always
wished to broaden my skills which although different, they complement each other in several points.
The urban planning is as a cross-cutting area which inducted multitude thematic that we have to take
in consideration therewith that one action does not have an adverse effect on another one.

My researches lead on Syrian and Filipino migration in Jordan give me a chance to elaborate
new working strategies. My major research objective has been to understand urban behavior of Syrian
and Filipino migrants in a specific context in constant evolution. The intervention methodology can be
realized only by preliminary study of field context to adapt it to territory and population. This phase
allowed me to extract data which I then analyzed and synthesized. My master thesis gives me new
keys required for the treatment of a subject in a specific context.

I had the opportunity to conduct field work in Lebanon. Thanks to this experience, I worked
on a syrien refugee camp to improve living conditions with shelters built with shipping containers. It
was a joy to work with Lebanese students, and I appreciated collaborating with them. This work
showed me the future tasks that I will do in my urban planning career. This year I had the opportunity
to conduct with my colleague another field work in Tunisia (Sfax) on accessibility and handicap
thematic. We have federated several local actors (students, associations, and municipality) and
organizing an accessibility week has been possible throughout Sfax capital of the Arab culture 2016.
Directly integrated in the event program, this sensibilisation week (coordinated by steering group
composed during our workshop) on accessibility took place from 13 to 19 November 2016.

By applying for SIF, I want to expand my knowledge and skills on an international level in the
fields that are yours: humanitarian assistance and local development. Dynamic, motivated and
rigorous, I very much hope to integrate SIF to benefit from a unique experience in project planning
and to use my skills to benefit from this NGO of international solidarity. I would be pleased to be able
